Saw this and thought I'd share just in case someone is in the market. For under $400 it's not too bad.

Whoo... New third member is on it's way.  Hello True Track.  I guess I'll have to wire up the control module for the Gearvendor's so I can install both the O/D and the rear end at the same time.

Got me stumped there sorry, Shaun. Been a long time since I've laid eyes on one.
Years ago I put a T5 behind a 351C in an XF and I can't recall modifying it much other than the shifter hole.

I don't have any experiences with Evans, I thought my reference to an 1837 model year car made it obvious that I was joking around. Never assume, I guess.

And while I have never tried Evans, I have tried aluminum radiators, and this seems to be the best exact fit option out there right now:

Sorry, you are correct, however, they fixed that problem on the 1838 model.

After doing some research, I've decided to go this route. I will be selling my new power rack and pinion and buying a manual rack to go along with this system. I want to clean up the engine bay and this seems like a great way to do that. I like that it gets rid of the hydraulic system and im sure its lighter too.

Not true. My 1837 Essex overheated mightily until I invested in the Evans kit.

Ditto above. Plus the 69 has a spring on the shaft that the extended ends rest on the pedal and the other books around the vertical pedal arm.

Another, cheaper option, is to consider a refurbished headlight harness from Midlife Harness Restorations.  http://midlifeharness.com

De nada Bill. One of the great things about forums like this is folks have cars in various states of repair where info can be obtained pretty easily.

I resemble that remark. The first time I played Duck Duck Goose with my granddaughter she said you'll never catch me Papa. When I asked why, she said because you're old and fat! WHAAAAT?

Check out midlife first.  He can send you one for your car that will be cheaper and it has all the proper connectors.  I used one and it was super easy to put in (of course my dash was out). http://midlife66.com/
