I'm looking for a section of brake line that goes from the passenger side engine compartment, into the passenger side wheel well, and connects the the passenger side brake hose.  This is for front disk brakes.

Put Chap-stick or some other kind of lip balm on the bowl gaskets in case you need to change jets.  Old racer trick.  The gaskets don't stick and tear, so they can be reused.  x2 on what Barnett468 said about power valves.  I had a bad one a couple months ago, and I was so rich it hurt my eyes.

Have you thought about the 750 cfm Summit Racing carbs?  I have one, and I like it.  Kinda a cross between a Holley and an Autolite 4100.  Uses Holley jets, power valves, needle and seats.  They have a mechanical secondary and a vacuum secondary versions.  https://www.summitracing.com/search/department/air-fuel-delivery/section/carburetors-accessories/part-type/carburetors/brand/summit-racing/universal/yes/carburetor-flange/square-bore?N=4294951509%2B4294949628%2B4294921892%2B400304%2B4294951518%2B4294921253%2B4294921888&SortBy=Default&SortOrder=Ascending

Prefer white, 100% cotton. I know black doesn't show grease/dirt, but who would wear either while working in their car. White is much cooler in the summer heat and would proudly wear it at while at the car shows

One of my favorite t-shirts, I've had it forever. Although Jones is credited, I think the actual quote is from Mario Andretti (sometimes you see it attributed to Dale Earhardt) but who cares?

The front and rear spoilers must have had some good to them, or Ford wouldn't have put them on the Boss 302 cars that ran in the Trans Am races.  Granted, the chin spoilers are different from what was put as an option for the production cars, but the rear spoilers look the same.  The angle on the race car rear spoilers is tilted down on the front side a lot more than what is on the production cars though.

Well, that may be, but even industry titans like Bob Tasca of Bob Tasca Ford went straight to Ford to push for the 428CJ in 68 Mustangs as a direct response to the level of success he was having with the 390 vs the competition. He had more resources than any of us ever had.

I had a 390 Cougar Eliminator, and a 390GT in my 66 Comet Cyclone GT, both modified with the same bolt on stuff most people did. They ran well, but didn't "whip" other big blocks on the street.

Another thing to think about.  Holley carbs don't usually like fuel pressure higher than 5 or 6 psi.  What is your fuel pressure just before the fuel enters the carb?  Fuel pressure that is too high can cause problems also.  Don't go by what the fuel pump maker says either.  Get a fuel pressure gauge on it.  My Carter fuel pump isn't supposed to need a fuel pressure regulator, but the fuel pressure was 9 psi with out it!  I had fuel coming out of the vent tubes before I put a regulator on it.  Works fine now with fuel pressure set to 5 psi.

I have the Oregon cam version of a Comp Magnum 280 and Oregon lifters.  I used Joe Gibbs assembly lube, and Joe Gibbs break in oil.  Everything worked as it should, and that was 10 months ago now.  As far as customer service, the Oregon Cams owner (Ken) is a Ford guy, and races Fords.  He picks up the phone when you call usually in less than 5 rings and it is him you are talking to.  Easy to work with if any questions arise.  I'm very satisfied with his products and customer service.

Going to shows is fun, glad u enjoyed it! I would alway see the regulars every year and its nice to make friends there. its great to see that your car stood out, Never judge a book by its cover!

the last show I went to, they had me park me next to a couple of 69-70 fastbacks and the owners just plain didn't like me cuz I was a coupe owner and they couldn't fathom as to why I would mod a coupe instead of buying and modding a fastback.

luckily, the Judging was actually given to the ppl attending the show and everyone appreciated the car, after the votes were turned in, I won first place. I had a big ass smirk when i picked up my 1st place ribbon and l see all the FB owners just looking at me with envy.. lol felt really proud that my car was able to win 69-70 mustang category.

Hey Sportsroof1969, if you like F4U Corsairs, then you might be interested to know who went to the high school where I teach.  I teach Army JROTC at Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA.  Gregory "Pappy" Boyington was class of 1930.  You would never guess that one of the most famous people to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor went here though.  There is nothing to show it.  No classroom named after him, no plague on a wall, nothing!  My JROTC kids and a small part of the school alumni association have been fund raising for 2 years now, and we have $7,000 of the estimated $10,000 to have a monument put in the school courtyard area.  You would think with all the old "Baa Baa Black Sheep" TV show fans, something would have been done in the 1970's, but nope, nothing.

I have no idea why the picture of brake parts is attached.  I didn't put it there, and I can't delete it.

I've shot competition with the Army off and on since 1981.  Now that I'm retired, I'm starting to get the itch to do it some more at the next level as a coach.  I also do plastic models with my boys, fishing and Cub Scout stuff with my boys.  Also do computer games like Battlefield 4, World of Tanks, and IL-2.
