I have the Dakota Digital RTX Series and what an awesome kit! can give you multiple readings i.e Speed, Oil Pressure, Radiator Temp. You can also adjust these settings in your iOS or Android Phone. you can also change the color of the dials.
my only gripe with this kit, is it doesn't have the running horse when you select the high beams. thats one thing that I wish that on there. other than that Dakota Digital is a winner for me.

Yes, the kit came with everything, Im not too into wiring, however, the shop I installed it at had no issue and was a straight forward install since my wires were original and not touched/modified prior.
definitely one of my favorite things about the car. I dont need to add any additional gauges like oil pressure, water temp, this gauge kit has everything that you need, the two LCD Displays helps alot when on the road, as I get an accurate reading.
I highly recommend RTX to anyone who is debating about going with this kit.

this is the current set up I have:
Brakes: I have an old brake kit called Vintage Venom 13" Cobra front and rear, they are no longer in business. however, running modern wheels you will need to run a spacer but that varies depending on if your brake setup retains the original track width. I've seen ppl use 1" - 1.5"  spacers for the front and 1/2 spacers for the rear. again, I would take measurements before pulling the trigger.
    Wheels: 99-04 18x9/10 Fr500s from Americanmuscle.com
    18x9: https://www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-fr500-style-solid-black-wheel-18x9-28474g94.html
    18x10: https://www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-fr500-style-solid-black-wheel-18x10-rear-only-28477.html
Tires: Bfgoodrich sport comp2 245/40/18 (Front) 275/40/18 - they are quite robust and might rub, so you might need to roll your fenders, after I did this it never gave me an issue.
Since im going with more power with the 408w, ill be changing tires and going with Michelins SS or Falken azenis rt615k+ to get a little more grip.
    Good Luck with your build!

agreed, I tried to base my wheel setup on this chart when I started to pick out wheels and tire combos, but soo many ppl had different set ups, its hard to collect that much data as every year a new kit would appear.
Im happy with my setup 18x9/10 245/40 275/40 with SOT Front Coil Overs and Grab-A-Track 4.5 Mid Eye leafs with Vintage Venom's brake kit:

Received an email from my Machine Shop that there is a delay in my heads.
Air Flow Research Heads Announces Investment by Taglich Private Equity

Air Flow Research is excited to announce that Taglich Private Equity, LLC (TPE) has acquired AFR. TPE is a lower middle-market PE firm that specializes in recapitalizations, management buyouts, and majority equity investments, targeting manufacturing, business services and consumer products companies. Taglich looks to partner with management teams that can take advantage of their expertise and background in order to optimize their company's growth potential and create long-term value.

AFR’s management team and employees will continue to operate out of its Valencia, CA facility, continuing to provide high quality, performance cylinder heads, service, parts, and machining associated with the AFR brand. Nothing will change; it will be business as usual. As President, Board Member and significant investor, Rick will continue to be involved with the organization, ensuring the foundation that his family and employees have built over the past 50 years will flourish under TPE’s guidance.

Taglich and AFR are excited about the growth prospects both organically and through future acquisitions of other aftermarket performance companies.

I have the Contour dual electric fans. If you have a 20" radiator, you have to use the 24" radiator along with the 24" radiator upper & lower mounts.

I know this is an old thread, and I apologize in advance. But I'm currently installing the front side bumper brackets and I am not for sure witch way the nut goes into the valance. It looks like the nut would be installed from the back side of the valance with the fingers facing / gripping on the outside of valance. I have a picture of the nuts below that I have. Any help would be appreciated!

like smoke from the exhaust or under the mid section? it could be your Transmission getting too hot, overfilled and spilling on to the exhaust or could be a bad rear transmission seal.

I have not really measured the distance and I only drove around the block, it is very bright compared to my Scott Drake halogens. However I did take pictures of the high and low beams are the attached photos below.
someone on VMF created a thread about LED/Halos and I posted them there, Dapper lighting shared some insight that my setup had to much glare due and their kit was far superior. you can view that discussion here: https://www.vintage-mustang.com/threads/led-headlights-with-halos.1185055/page-2
I just felt their kits wasn't worth the $300-400 and he danced around some questions, so I didn't like their design. Almost all headlights will show some glare, but overall Im happy with my purchase.

Swapped out the old radiator and crappy fan with a complete kit from West Coast Classic Cougar.  The kit includes a new 3 core 24” big block radiator, fan shroud, big block fan with clutch, and all the mounting hardware.  The swap was easy and fit was great.

Yes, I tried 2 modern master cylinders out as the stock one was really close to my shock tower with my dual brake booster.   I got one for a mid-1990's Ford Explorer and one from a mid-1990's Ford Ranger.   I used the reservoir from one, and the body from another. I used the body that had the fittings connections on the drivers side, and the flat reservoir.   After I did that, I figured out the one in the link below would fit directly.   You need to get the metric standard brake line adaptors.  The bore and rod length are the same as the '70 Mustang.  The only modification I had to do was slightly enlarge the mounting holes.
I think I did a post on this,  I will look for it.
