Midlife got a reaction from Mach1 Driver in Intake and lifter galley gap
And now for the rest of the story...
Why are police called pigs?
The term pigs, in reference to police officers, comes from England’s underground criminal slang and shows up in the early 1800s. It refers to pigs as vile creatures that take more than their share, akin to police officers who would take the illicit gains of thieves for themselves.

Midlife got a reaction from henkster in Anti-theft for these old classic cars?
Bah. I simply remove the gas tank and carry it with me when I go into the store.
If someone wants to use a wrecker to haul the car off, nothing can stop that (with the exception of a metal device that spits out metal or a trunk monkey).

Midlife got a reaction from Mach1 Driver in 70 Tach Dash RUN-only Power appears not to be clean
I'm not sure that it will be a problem for his gauges. Converting to the 69 lamp circuit means replacing one of the pins on the dash cluster connector, but that then will really screw up the circuit card. That RUN-only line handles all of the indicator lamps, so there's some serious problems there. I could easily handle it with the hard-wired dash cluster harness, but that's expensive.
By the way, Ford went back to the more standard configuration in the 1973 Mustang. suggesting that there were some issues found earlier.

Midlife got a reaction from Mach1 Driver in Radio cuts off when turn signal starts
OK...turn signal and radio are on the same fuse circuit, as is the backup lamps. Probably what's happening is a loss of voltage across those fuse clips, Look at the top left-most fuse.
On the other hand, your car could be haunted by the ghost of Lee Iacocca. I'd say three Hail Mr. Fords and spray any anti-Chebby disinfectant you can find.

I didn't want to confuse that with what we had in Oregon: Hail Henry, referring to Henry Weinhard's beer.

Yes it does. It points to the headlight to fusebox area as the problem.
