  1. Well what do you want for the front? 6 rib belt reverse rotation pump and fan? Or stock V belt? I run Cvfracing stuff on one car and all others are stock stuff..Its up to you on what you want to do and see ...If it is a price thing a complete front dress off a junkyard motor might be cheap..unless you have a standard fan and standard rotation pump already..and just pulleys might just do fine..

  4. New best 60ft 1.41 on the motor... got my traction problems fixed... Drove it to the track last friday.. Went 3 back to back 10.70s and drove it home.. all pump gas...Im liking this big motor more and more..
  5. Just move it to the rear of the mounting lug...most mount at the rear but some mount to the front...but have enough arch to clear the blades..
  6. just wanted to say thanks to sportsroof69 for some of the setup questions about his car and his caltracs..took my car from spinning last year 1.59 60 ft average.. Not being consistant at the track to OMG..best ever 60 Ft of 1.41 tires in the air.. hit my helmet on the roof...what a first pass out of the box..car run 1.41 to 1.45 all day..10.61 on the motor...it never did that last year...This forum and people are great..Now time to go rounds and have fun this year...
  7. I run a msd close to that starter...i run the factory solenoid...big wire to big lug and a jumper to the small lug (from the big lug)...it will work fine..
  8. My 427 has 11.3 and i run it with 93 no diesel here..It also depends on mechanacal compression ( cam timing)..can be done..

  11. You cut out alot more of that car than I did...I guess I was lucky..
  12. you should also have a splitter (electronic controler) from the upper speedo cable and the lower..look by the fuse box near the dimmer switch for the box..I had everything on a 70 coupe but the servo.. I think they used mercury and lincoln parts for the dealer add on...
  13. I run a stock ford distributor...so all parts are avalable at parts houses...wide cap..and cheap...but I light it up with MSD....
  14. I have done them in the car and out... I prefer out...just be careful when you install...It looks better tinted to the edge...just get good tint..not the cheap kind...
  15. My drop bracket is welded to the frame and bolted all the way through the frame..no issues..

  17. Running a return keeps regulator kreep down ..and only my nitous fuel side ....not only the motor..same motormounts here's..I have a 9 scoop only mine..so vj and spacers for me..
  18. I used the stock sender as a return line back to the tank and sumped the tank in mine ...two holley blues for me..1/2 fuel line all the way...
  19. I have had the same set of afr 205s on my 351w,then 393 and now 427...worked great with the 351....
