I own a VW Jetta, after much consideration my car has decided it wants to be recognized as a Porsche 911. So if there are any alphabet people here who want a Porsche 911 its up for sale.

Having lived there most of my life before escaping when I retired, I know a bit about the water situation. Los Angeles is a mild desert with the best weather in the country, but no water. At max it had enough water to support 250,000 and the population is somewhere around 18 million in just the four counties of LA, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino. Around 1900 they diverted water from the Owens Valley, and the city began to grow. That was done by Bill Mulolland, for whom they named Mulholland Drive. Then he built 7 large reservoirs to store the water. Then they diverted water from the Colorado River. Then they built the California aqueduct- essentially a concrete river running all the way from the Sacramento River Delta into LA. They had to do all that to keep pace with the population, but eventually they ran out of new sources for water, and the population just keeps growing. Their crazy politicians don't know their ass from a hot rock, and there are plenty of those laying around. They are between the proverbial hot rock and a hard place.

Based on my research, only one manufacturer makes those moldings, (Corvex as far as I remember). Had to use them within the last year. You have to massage the front ends of both sides so they match to the contour of the fender by the lip. The hole for the left side is about a quarter inch off, had to close that hole and punch a new one. They drilled the extra holes on yours because when fenders are not aligned perfectly with the rocker, the molding pops out of the plastic clips just after the fender and people just put a screw in there to fasten it. Had the extra  holes on my 69 Grande; when I did the body work and assembly I aligned the fenders right and now the moldings stay in place without the need for the extra screws.
On your picture, marked as front is the rear. If yours are in decent shape and shine, you can try to push the extra holes closed from the back and use them. The shine on repops won't last long and they are made from softer material.

Thank you, Buckeye! I actually went to your build thread to see if I could find a picture of that area but unfortunately your pictures are hosed. What an incredibly sad thing too, as that build is the best I've seen on the web. It was also an incredible motivator for me.  Are you hosting your pictures anywhere, such that one can view them?

Marco at King Of Trim can fix these. they have the correct chemistry.  They fixed my 1970 trim to perfect condition.  All dents and scratches were removed.  www.kingoftrim.com

Repop moulding set does not include the clip F, but as far as I remember has the middle clips, rivets to attach them and clips that looks like E.

The screw on F goes through the molding on mine, I did not have the clip. But the clip F might have been left off when the car was painted before my ownership. F shows a screw, the middle clips are pop riveted.

those 3 holes grouped together shouldn't be there.  the fourth is for the clamp for the rear axle breather tube.

Machspeed get these & weld them in, they are the floor pan supports for the dual exhaust hangers. Here is a picture of them welded in my 69 Coupe.

3 holes (one smaller than the other 2) on the fwd side of the circled holes; I attached my home made bracket to 2 bigger holes. The nuts welded sheet is long and the smaller hole was used to secure the sheet in place so it won't fall off if I remove the exhaust bracket. It was a little time consuming to do it this way but looks symmetric and no extra holes drilled.

On my original single exhaust, 9" diff 69 Grande, outboard hole is for the clip that secures the diff vent rubber hose. End of the vent hose goes inside the frame/support the hole is on at the aft side of it; if your picture was taken from behind the car, you would have captured he hole which vent hose goes in. I think they put the end of the vent inside a closed area to eliminate dirt etc entering the hose/diff. The other 3 holes close to each other does not exist on mine. Don't know if they make a bracket for left side, but I made a mirror image of the exhaust bracket on the right side using about 1/8" thick sheet and attached it to left side at the same location (on left side). I think I had to fish in (through the shock nut opening in the trunk) a piece of flat sheet with nuts welded on them so I can bolt the home made bracket to.

BYW, the Tappan zee bridge has been knocked down and renamed the mario cuomo bridge. I go around it not to cross it. 
There is a movement to rename it in fear it may collapse due to it being built from a pile of shit ( cuomo )
