mustangstofear got a reaction from GSEninja in Project Mayhem (aka Serenity)
Looks like it turned out very nice so far. If I didn't know better, I would say those are our MTF engine panels :)

We should have pricing next week. I'm always amazed at how much Stainless Works charges for setup fees :(

Nice work. What you will find out is that even though it fits your car perfectly, once you start selling them to customers that have replaced the Qtrs, end caps and tailpanels , it won't fit the same.

When I fill the gasket with urethane I go back over the gasket with a bone to squeeze out any excess. I wait at least a day or 2 before installing the chrome trim. Doing it right away makes a big mess.

mustangstofear got a reaction from Grabber70Mach in Son of a... holes in my headliner
On a 69-70 You would have to remove the backglass if you went back original, with ours nothing is removed. You are correct about a lot of warranty problems with TMI. Their problem from the beginning has always been separating, ours will never do that or ever stain.

Headliners are on order with our manufacturer :) pricing should be in the neighborhood of the 69-70 fastback.

We moved the seat risers back as far as we could and still be able to get the nuts on. The color is a special one from PPG, I'll have to look it up.

The coupe headliners are all 329.95 Now that gas has dropped down to under 1.50 a gallon, the freight company's has raised the cost by 20.00 :(

We normally run a 18x9 with a 5.5 backspace if we're not going to tub it. The 275 fits great.

I'm seriously looking at doing the headliner for the coupe. I found a very nice and depenable guy that has been making molds for me. So, what I really need to know is how much demand is there for it ? I have at least 40 other new products I could spend my money on.

I talked to Dave on Thursday and he said he's getting very close to finishing it up. This was a very challenging project for him.

Installing our MTF mini tubs. You can also see how we moved the seat belt anchors forward in the tunnel.
