f the other gauges work, then replacing the IVR with an aftermarket replacement won't help, and actually slows down the gauges at start-up. As said previously, if the float isn't full of gas, then bending the float arm or MeterMatch is probably the solution. If you need to buy a new sender go with NPDs best (call them). None of the replacement senders match the OEM according to Rick , the owner of NPD. The following may be of interest: Edit: I removed the diagram and data from below, because with further testing done today, I found that both the OEM and aftermarket IVRs bring the gauges up to their operating ranges in about the same time. That was unexpected given the higher voltage for the OEM version just after start-up. What I found interesting was that the aftermarket IVR gave lower values when on high- about two needle widths lower. This may take a bit more investigation, because the OEM version of the IVR was outputting 5v continuous on high, but I'm not yet certain if the aftermarket IVR got loaded down and dropped it's output when on high, because it was also 5v ...when on low.

That's because we have incredibly good taste, and are modest as well.

69 70 rear quarter glass nylon rollers

I built some of of uhmw plastic. I found 2 holes saws that were the correct size and built them. One for the base and one for the side that goes in the track. I drilled part way from both directions the correct depth of the original. Then I counter suck a hole in it to and put a stainless 1/4” bolt in with a lock nut. It looks large in the picture but is the same outer diameter as the factory, just round. It travels good in the track with no issues that I’ve noticed.

Are you talking about the rollers that are installed with swaged stand off to the glass frame and slide inside the 3 rails? If so, I could not find any reproductions. I had a couple which had the springed edges broken. So I 3D printed a couple from ABS, ground the swaged part of the stand off, drilled a hole through the stand off and tapped it. Installed the 3D printed roller using the modified stand off and a bolt. Have been using them for a few years now and still working (but the rear windows do not get rolled up and down a lot).

I'm amazed at the number of engineers who are into classic Mustangs. Impressive.

It is the hard part, but seeing daily progression, keeps the drive going. Don’t let the little steps backwards frustrate you, we have all had them. Paint looks awesome!!

    Paul's 69 Mach1

Making some good progress, Paul! I drove in the left lane twice in the US without realising what I was doing. Driving head on into on coming traffic. I didn't think I was doing anything wrong until the last second. 4 days of flights travel with next no sleep does that though. I have 3 LHD cars, after a week it becomes second nature driving around here in Aus. Look like a fool though to get in at the servo when you go to the wrong side of the car and there is no steering wheel in front of you. I do that all the time getting into my RHD cars now. The weirdest sensation of all is changing gears with the opposite hand. That feels all back to front more to me than the seating position.
