Nice progress, photos a bit small though. I made the firewall for my 65 from sheet metal, so there is only two pieces to the firewall, other wise it can look like a patch work quilt.

can't believe how time flies, seems like last week i posted not 12 mths ago!  been a lot of tidy ups, rolled shell on its side and made up rail extensions, welded the floor in place, more work on the firewall, plenum and dash setup, decided to change direction on engine trans, so sold off all the parts i had and am now on the look out for a coyote engine and transmission

Time for an update, 

had tossed up strut or tubular front end?  Decided on the rrs struts and rack and pinion, phase two brakes, modified the shock towers, made up the engine mounts, fitted engine and transmission, fitted new canton oil pan, trans mount is next

First time in 2 1/2 years it’s moved on its own wheels, few checks befor it goes back on the rotisserie and the under side is finished, new Dakota dash arrived last week, waiting on billet oil pump gears and lower chain sprocket,

Update, Cars off the rotisserie for good, rear end in,engine bay completed and in primer, just need to decide wether to paint it in body color or satin black?..

I would recommend painting the engine bay and the trunk area on the rotisserie, it's a pain to get into the tight spots, but a lot easier on a rotisserie.

Looks like you  did a  lot of  modifications to your  tunnel and firewall,  what tranny  are you using  ?

I did do the underside in black but I’m having second thoughts about black for the engine bay,so would have to go over some bits if I do color in the bay

I’ve grafted the 2017 trans tunnel into it, motor and 6 speed are out of the same

Using the seats from the 2017 mustang , going to try and graft the rear seat as well

I would stay with body colour, the 2 pack clear is a lot more resistant to oil and brake fluid spills.

Really impressive work. Especially the right hand conversion and the modifications for the 17's drive train.
