  1. I dropped by the other day and he doesn't have any good 69 fenders.
  2. Huh, I've found that squeaks and high pitched noises come from the nagging wife or girlfriend.
  3. Is the hip damage a result of kicking too much a$$? I sure hope they've given you meds until the surgery. Best wishes for a successful replacement and quick recovery.
  4. Yep, I agree. The rear visibility is so poor I added a rear camera on the license plate frame. It works pretty well but mine doesn't have enough side view to see all the way to the outer edges. Better than nuttin though.
  5. Thanks Terry, but it's a 30/30 car with its share of flaws. And all of which I caused :)
  6. The page I'm looking at has 3 chin spoilers, I'm using the middle priced one. .
  7. I'd fit and drill the holes before paint. I used the chin spoiler from NPD, which fit great and installed easily.
  8. Might want to give Paul a call at Mustang MD in Castaic CA. I'm pretty sure I saw several 69 fenders there last time I visited him. He doesn't like to ship parts to flaky unknown people, but told me he'd ship them for my friends. I'd use Henry fenders if available. His number is 818-367-0055.
  9. I envy you guys who have the talent to do the hood black out on these 69 Mach 1s. I didn't think I had the skill or patience to do it correctly, so I just painted the entire hood. Ya, I pussed out.
  10. There's only one Pakrat. Wonder what he's up to.
  11. Welcome to the forum! And pics, we need pics.
  12. This Jim Osborn manual has some info, no idea of it helps you.
  13. Nice. Where did you find a lower dash?
  14. Damn. Sorry to hear this, but you are not alone. Last year in October while leaving Ogallala Nebraska I backed into a parked Yukon damaging my bumper and rear panel. Back circa 1999 with the 69 idling I was adding tranny fluid. Apparently it was started in reverse, and when the trans had enough fluid, it took off into an 8x8 gate post. Damaged the quarter panel, bumper, deck lid, and rear body panel. I feel your pain bro.
  15. What is the backspace on this wheels? Pics look like you could've gone deeper.
  16. I'm thinking you ought to paint that scooter red :)
  17. I guess I got lucky installing my fuel sending unit. It went in easy peasy and didn't leak. Yet...
  18. I thought I read that the aftermarket shakers were fiberglass, and I know the factory are metal.
  19. Petroleum products make pretty good weed killer. Or so I've heard.
  20. You'll need to check its fit with your driveshaft once the rear end in installed. At the very least you'll probably need a combo U joint, as I think the 7.25 rear has 1 inch cups and the 8 inch has 1-1/16 inch. Good chance I'm wrong though.
  21. It wouldn't take too many fill ups along with a can of octane booster to pay for a new carburetor.
  22. We wouldn't care if you were Vic. Well, we actually would, we'd hope you were making a $hit ton of cash.
