RPM 1,190 Report post Posted February 17, 2017 That's a felony where I'm from. Car cover? Portable cover? I'd park mine in my living room before leaving it outside in the snow. But that's me. And could be why I'm 0-2 with wives :) Nice looking place ya got there Ray. 2 Caseyrhe and Raven R code reacted to this

Max Power 74 Report post Posted February 17, 2017 Snow isn't that bad for a car, probably not any worse than half the covers out there..... 1 RPM reacted to this

Ridge Runner 1,114 Report post Posted February 17, 2017 What would scare me is when that snow slides off a pretty paint job ...it does make a nice looking ice sculpture though .

Mach1 Driver 562 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 https://www.amazon.com/Caravan-Canopy-20-Feet-Domain-Carport/dp/B0032UY0C4 don't see how one of these could support a load of snow, then you'd have a collapsed car port and maybe some damage to the car and the snow to deal with get that shop built Ray!! newstang 388 Report post Posted February 19, 2017 ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Get a temporary car port. They are cheap and easy to put up. The amount of snow on that car would defiantly put the car port through that car. you must not be a new englander :-)
JD08 42 Report post Posted February 19, 2017 Sounds like somebody needs a 24x36 detached garage with 10 foot ceilings for a lift. 1 RPM reacted to this
Bob & Sue 110 Report post Posted February 19, 2017 I'd pay the monthly storage fee till the shop is built , I have seen a couple folks who have the carports 3 length wise they held up a couple weeks ago with 14-15" of snow on them. Don't forget to contact your insurance company my rates are contingent on the car being garaged 24/7 unless we're using it, I'd be more worried about theft than the elements. Oh hell yea, but why stop there, how about adding higher roof and half loft as a man cave, no need to go back in the house. a Fridge and stangs below is all you need 1 RPM reacted to this
Rsanter 152 Report post Posted February 24, 2017 Put it in a shipping container. When the shop is done then move the shipping container to the back of the shop to store things that you don't want in the shop Bob 1 RPM reacted to this

ray1970 88 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 The sale of my shop has been heavily slowed by the town... They just don't want a Buddhist temple that will not have to pay taxes (14000.00+) Town is hoping they will back out.(Not me) Put my car back inside where it should be!
