IIRC on my Coupe it only has one hole there for the sending unit wire.

Vic looking good. I love the color on your 68 Mustang, it looks like the color that was on my 68 Mustang GT I had back in the 80's. It was a Pontiac color from a 1977 Trans Am.

Thanks Roger, I was more looking for pictures I looked in my Osbourne manuals & it has a drawing of where it runs but I was looking for more detail then the book has.

As the title says I am looking for some pics on the routing of the trunk wiring. I am finishing up the wiring in the trunk I want to route the harness so I could take measurements then make the connections to the lights & be sure when I put it in place it will still reach the lights. I looked in the Osborne wiring book & it shows a rough drawing that doesn't help much. I would be grateful for any pics you all can supply me. Thanks in advance.

Bob I am the same no more big crowds & traffic. As I get older I hate it more & more. I have been to Carlisle, Pa events a couple times, no more.

Congrats on it nearing getting painted. Who is doing it for you?

Awesome work. When you are dome 99% of the metal will be new.

In between some house projects I am back working on the Mustang. I got the wiring for the oil pressure & the temp senders hooked to the AAW harness.

I dumped the P/S setup & went to a manual setup with a Choko rebuilt box & a roller idler arm from Opentracker Racing & it steers like it has power steering. Roller Idler Arm, Manual Steering (1967-1970) Mustang Cougar - Opentracker Racing

Try unbolting the master cylinder & pull it forward a little & make the back seal in the master cylinder is not leaking fluid into the brake booster. I have had this happen to me & it drove me nuts until I found it.

The ones I purchased are to tight, they will not go over the threaded stud. jmlay I will give that a try tomorrow & report back. 70 Boss351 if the idea jmlay gave me doesn't work I found the ones you stated at Summit. -
When I installed them on my 69 Coupe I have them 1 3/4" back from the door opening front edge of the quarter panel to the center ridge of the scoop. Just like in the pic above I set the scoop so the top was level with the body line. Here is a pic of mine.

After almost 2 years of concentrating on the "new to us house" I have finally started back working on the Mustang. I want to finish the wiring under the hood first before I move to the trunk area & that has to do with the oil pressure & water temp senders. I have the new senders but since I have an AAW wiring harness I do not have the "L" shaped ends that slip over the threaded studs on the senders. I purchased a couple from CJ Pony Parts a year or so IIRC & they do not fit the stud on the senders. Anyone have a line on some that will work?

Thanks Vic we are well, hope you & yours are too. You could come up here or I could drive to Charlotte.

I am in the process of completely rewiring my 69 Coupe with an AAW wire harness. Some of the wiring was cut & the insulation was cracked & since it was almost a bare shell it was a little easier since I stripped off what was left on the shell.

Nice work there Vic. Now that you are semi-retired & I am also as of Jan 1st maybe we could get together some weekend.

Nice work. I remember the engine build phase of my 69 Coupe build & dealing with shops. Keep up the good work & post more pics. -
Looks awesome, nice work.

WOW! that is some nice work there. I thought I had a lot of sheet metal work that I had done on my 69 Coupe, you beat me with ease.
