Mmmmm... Don't know about you, but I enjoy fabbing stuff more than anything. So cool! Bob

Heck, I'd even do it for a friend. First three are from the drivers side, rest passengers side. Crawling under there isn't as fun at 58 as it was at 28 :) These aren't the best pics due to the rear axle being installed, and my age thing. Bob

Do it. If you have concerns about your ability to drill the holes, buy a template from Dazecars.com. Bob

grille/radiator shield, what took me so long??

I first saw those about a year ago. Nice thing is they come in different colors. They make them here in town a few miles away. Bob -
Too low? Hell no! Bob

I wouldn't worry about it. Every right and left side measurement for the same spacing on my 69 Mach One M code San Jose car are different. The "Quality is job 1" campaign apparently began sometime after my car was built :) Bob

Cool pic. Nicer 70! Great stance. Bob

Oops, I again misread a post. Sorry about that. I bolted mine to the firewall. It's a Wilwood and plenty light, but don't think I'd run it not bolted down. Too much vibrations to sorry about. If you get the small cylinder style prop valve I wouldn't worry about bolting it down. I used that style on a 56 F100 without issue. Bob

Pic of my 69, similar to 70. The pic should be flipped for proper orientation on car. It bolts to the left rear fender apron in the recessed area with two holes about 1-1/2" apart. Since you've received no 70 pics, this may help. Bob

This is very similar to the original which mounts in the tunnel under the rectangular bulge. And for those who don't know, it's welded to the other side of the bolt hole on the vertical slope at the left center of the pic. Edit: Oops, that be the front bolt location. Dang! Bob

Nice work! I love it when a plan comes together. I also mounted my rear down bars in that location for the same reason. Bob

Your car looks fantastic Guillaume. Bob

I know nuttin about door glass, but your car is top shelf good! I'm really digging the pit. Nice stuff! Bob

Took a few pics eh? Nice reflection pic of the two Bosses. Bob

Nicely written article, are you on the Ford payroll? Just kidding you. Probably not too many 69 Mach I's cruising thru Manhattan eh? Which coil over system are you planning to use? Bob -
Muy bueno! Bob

Oh btw, she's a keeper. But I suppose you already figured that out :) Bob

Wow, cool story! And it's "our" forum, you included. Welcome, and good continued luck! Notwithstanding the motor, I would return the rest of the car to stock. I would not do any more non Boss mods to it. The quarter mod reversal and stripes can't be too much cash. You can live with the motor I suppose. If the Boss turns out too costly for you, you should be able to sell it for a good penny. Bob

Very nice work. Where did you learn how to lead? Bob

Lots of folks use an 8" wheel. Depends on several factors; wheel backspace, diameter, tire diameter, width, sidewall, fender lip rolled or not. Bob

I think the originals are plated a silver color. Some guys here have painted them. I don't know the specific color they used. Bob

I'm no engineer, but fwiw I believe I read that higher octane burns at a lower temperature. Bob

Why do I nearly always fall for these? Bob
