The crap shoot comes when they shut off the systems to take over total control of the walking dead with the thought that all will bend to their will.
Or does this set off a new revolt that makes the Boston tea party look like a frat house get together.

Then recheck your float levels and blade positions for fuel leaking into intake.
 

Do you have the right thermostat and bypass restrictor in place?
A improper stat or missing plate will allow head temps to be much higher and cause fuel to flash when turning engine off.

First work the channel from the bottom up to remove it do not pull it out this could stretch it or break.
Next clean the channel with steel wool and wipe it down with dish soap to install stripping.
The mirror cables go behind the channel around to the door hole, There is a large lock tab washer on the back of the door panel and screw on finish nut on the int side.

Yes I have one and use it on the older vec. Will not work on newer models with computer controls.
Have used it for all of the items listed on the box.
 Useful tool for old school working engines even single bore lawn mowers.

Front 4 plugs must be good as you left them out. As I said before the use of a 1 inch four hole spacer would help.
It allows better fuel/air mixing before it hits the open spaced intake, the rear cylinders have too work at getting fuel to them.

While the amp gauge to work is much more involved, Test the oil pressure first by grounding the wire at the sensor and flipping the key to the on position.
If the wiring is good the needle will peg to the left. You sending unit my be bad. But also check for the eng to body ground straps are in place and any other grounding points. thsi is a main problem with miss reading guages.

Could you give the numbers for this? looks like the tops are out and the bottoms could be moved inward. there are many adjustments that can be made.

Just a discussion point in my view, Spacers are not the best idea. While some may be using them for just crusing around, Heavy track or spirited curves can cause wheel bearing failure. Just look at the stock mounting of a wheel. The center line of the mass is near the center line of the hub . Placing an adapter on it moves the center line of the wheel mass out from the hub center. Basic math shows there will be stress at some time in its use. JMHO.

He was stating that some shafts have a landing where the bolt goes. the smooth side is towards the chassis. this will allow shims to be placed in when needed.
If they are both off try switching them from dvr to pass side and check for rubbing also.

Now your only problem will be the PoPo and keeping your DL.

Ok I admit the ad is long and a lot of info may or may not appeal to most, But if I was thinking of dropping a large sum of money on a 47 year old car, Details are very important to me.
Just like pictures can show a lot and if your looking past the pretty paint there are things that show what type of work was done or lack of.
 
Sadly I did have LOTS of pictures of her over time and they showed details of her improvements and upgrades like the engine internals. But they seem to be stuck in the old pc and may be lost. Yes I know now the file should have been loaded to a disc, and I thought I did that before the move.
 
I guess that I am to set in my ways and this new day of electronic crap now limits peoples reading skills to 140 bits.
 
Update; Just proving my point again. email from guy saying that my ad saying its 95% original but has different trans is miss leading.
The ad says the sheet metal is 95% not the drive train.  But that statement was farther down than 140 bits in the writing.

When you post something for sale and are as honest with your description as you can be because if your not what do you say when they show up and look at it?
You get responses that they have cash in hand then they want to do check or wire transfer, WTF!
Then you get someone who says they want it and will be in touch, please do not sell t to someone else.
So you pull your ad waiting for them to come or call for a week and no reply.
So you re post your ad only to have them email you saying I thought you were selling it to me?

Well lets look a what Ford did when they started dropping higher Hp/Tork engines in these cars.
They did reinforcing! It is a better to have it then need it later when your tork twists the sub frame out of wack.
As you stated your waiting on parts an the space is open to make the install easier. So do it now and not have to restraighten the frame rails later and do it then.
