newstang got a reaction from Grabber70Mach in Redo of my Mach1 restomod 4.6
Everything works again, apparently the OD servo wasn't connected to the band so it wouldn't go into OD. luckily we were able to do it from removing only the valve body

Today I went to home depot and was looking for a piece of steel. I saw this "grate" stuff so I figured, why not fill in the bottom of the front valance.
So I did.

Got the dash back together today with my new vintage air unit. Added a Mark VIII shifter, an OD off light, and a Normal/Sport button for the US Shift computer.

It will need to be custom, which is not much $
I have a 4.6 and used an x pipe made for that engine, after the mufflers is where you will need it custom made.
The pipes will have to go under the axle, there will be Zero room above it.
Dont worry, you cant see them when on the ground.

newstang got a reaction from RPM in Mounting Rear Speakers in a 69 Fastback
my suggestion is dont mess with the trap door. it rattles and looks bad.
Ive used an infinity bass-link mounted in the trunk off to the side. this unit is discontinued, but there are other similar units out there.
for the speakers i put them in the quarter side panels in molded housings.
Did them on the front doors too, but have since regretted that, your leg will sit against it.
In short, it sounds awesome, especially with Metallica playing !
