Incandescent bulbs for sure, I've always liked the way they light the gauges. Great work so far ! I see you went with no carpet inserts on passenger side.

Looking great, and I love the Gulfstream Aqua color. Also, I completely agree with you on the incandescent bulbs. I think if a person switched every bulb to an LED it would be less noticeable, but I think the warm-look of the incandescent bulbs are more fitting for these cars.

Muletman got a reaction from RPM in Gulfstream Aqua Mach1 Build
Getting closer. I think I finally have the timing right, had a problem with backfiring through the carb. It turns out that the MSD ready to run distributors vacuum advance was causing too much advance, so I capped it off. It is now set at 11 degrees initial and 21 degrees mechanical, all in at 3000rpm. I may bump the initial timing up a degree or two...

Making more progress, this is the first time these lights have been on in twenty years. It's coming to life.

Okay here we go, I have gathered most of the parts to install my interior. My plan is to work from the back of the car forward. Here is a rough outline of what I plan to do.
Wiring harness - American Autowire
Paint - Trap door, Arm rests, Quarter trim and Hocky sticks.
Dynamat interior
prewire stereo componants
Install stealth powered subwoofers
install rear plastic trim
install Folddown rear seat
Install Vintage Air A/C
Install Dash
This should keep me busy for a month or so.
So far, the car has had the floorpan, torque boxes and a frame rail replaced and painted Gulfstream Aqua.
We have added 4 wheel SSBC brakes, Steeroids power rack & pinion, tilt column, Global West Subframe connectors, OpenTracker roller perches, Moog upper and lower control arms, coils, 4 leaf mid eye springs, front sway bar and KYB shocks.

most of the time u can lower the back of the hood down by loosening the three apron/hinge bolts on each side and get someone to push up at the front of the hood and hold it while you tighten the bolts up.

Congrats. It looks like good progress and fine attention to detail. All the little bits required are enough to drive you nuts!
My car, the twin of yours, will be on the streets this summer as well.

Gorgeous car! I had an Acapulco Blue '69 Mach in high school, miss it dearly!
