  1. Top of my head without any research I'd say $750.
  2. Nice, and nuttin wrong with red. I've got an 89 bmw 525i, 56 F100, 69 Mustang and 87 Porsche 951, all red. Recently sold 95 Chivy Suburban that was red. Sometimes red is meant to be.
  3. Impressive undertaking CV. You've got a bunch more energy than me. Good to see someone with skills doing this rebuild.
  4. You keeping the spare 69 now that you've bought another? I know I would.
  5. Hmm...I was thinking they are metric. Pretty sure they take a 10 or 11mm wrench.
  6. Thank you Ben. I was seriously worried sumpin bad had happened to you. Why is it I get plenty of messages when the site goes down, but nuttin when it's back up? :) Where has the love gone?
  7. This is so cool. I'm happy for you Bob. Bruce, you are a good man for what you did.
  8. Nice score! I should've painted mine the original silver jade. Mine is also a San Jose build, with vin 133461, what's yours?
  9. I used two deep sockets. Maybe cuz it was 100° in the shop helped soften the epoxy.
  10. Which company were you trying to contact? I think I bought mine off ebay. I just located this company from a search. It looks like an active site. https://www.2040-parts.com/69-70-mustang-headlight-bucket-fender-extension-repair-i175741/
  11. I had your exact symptoms driving across the Mississippi River at Prairie du Chien Wisconsin. Turned out to be a less that 6 month old coil. Carrying spare parts pays off.
  12. If it sticks after sitting more that 2 days, drive it every other day. You're welcome. No idea actually.
  13. Outstanding Vic! On my console with those 2 pod gauges at the front, the lower lever button on the AC/heater bezel interfered with the top of the gauge bezel. Keep an eye out for that, but it might just be my application.
  14. Aww...fancy smancy. Looks great Vic.
  15. Those push rods come in many lengths. I had several, but none the length I wanted. So I made an adjustable push rod, and put it at the location I wanted. Some master cylinders clip onto the push rod so it won't fall out, some don't. While I've never experienced it, the ww web says an unsecured push rod can fall out of the brake pedal is pulled towards the driver fully. Mine won't. But checking for this is not a bad idea.
  16. Keep in mind that most parts today are crap. The best part is a known good used part. A year ago I made a 4,400 loop across the mid west, up to Wisconsin and back to Cali. I had three less than 6 months old parts fail, the starter, coil, and condenser. Good thing I carry spares.
  17. In the WCCC Don shows how you can use a regular ratcheting caulk gun to apply the 2 part epoxy. If I can do it, anyone can.
  18. Per WCCC recommendation I used the 3M 08641 two part epoxy circa 2016. It's survived many unintended power winder bottom outs.
  19. How did I know it wouldn't be Mustang related? :) Shouldn't you be busy planning an event?
  20. Check the drill bit size for the threads of the larger bolt. Then check the new alternator's threads to see if you've got enough material to tap for the old bolt.
