    you should put thin wall plastic sleeves on the bolts to keep from scratching the crank.

    Good Evening all. My name is Chris, I live in the U.K. and here is my plane Jane ‘69 mustang fastback. plan is lightly restore it and a light restomod; 408 or 427, street or track front suspension, Subframe connectors, upgraded Leather interior, led vintage air, A/c Etc I bought it from Virginia to over here to the U.K. about 18 months ago, strip down has started.     Yep. I only had 2 from Clevite, so I cut short pieces from clear tubing I had around. You're cheating having the motor out :)

    Make sure to mark the caps for location and orientation.

    Easy. Flip the engine over, undo all the bolted bits on the crank and pull it out. No need for any of the top of the motor to come off, except the timing covers. You'll have it done by lunch :)

    I had a drone in mine which was particularly bad up a gentle incline. I have sound proofing on the floor and firewall. About two weeks I took the rear side panels off. Not sure what they're call but the fiberglass ones next to the rear passenger knees. I added think soundproofing behind them and have noticed a dramatic improvement.

    Sometimes at around 2000 rpm it'll do that. Keep in mind that this exhaust system will sound a little different on every car because of all the variables involved.

    Correct Fuel Filter location

    The 1969 Autolite 4300 carb had the fuel filter screwed into the carb itself. See pic:
