BigDuke6 17 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 did you also get the scoop from NPD? I got my Boss 429 scoop from there and my body guy said not to use it as it was one of the most poorly made pieces of crap he had ever seen. And so, it is sitting in my basement, uninstalled. Where did you get your scoop and what is your opinion of the quality? I note from this picture here that you can see some daylight where the scoop should be flush to the hood for the rest of your build, especially the engine, all I can say is WOW! That thing is awesome.
Angel 24 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 Nice! Love the stance! How did you get a 315 in the back though? That can't be stock suspension back there.

You should mount yours to  I cant remember where we bought it, i can look at some receipts if you want to.
69shelbycoupe 11 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 Very nice car. I'm wondering the same. How did you fit the 315's in the rear. Would love to do that myself.
h82lose 10 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 very very nice!!! so what front and rear suspension to allow the great stance and wide tires.....do tell!!! Front is Shelby mod and cut springs, rear is loweringsprings from summit. we will do Airride sometime, rack and pinion and a 5speed swap. but now we love to drive it after 4 years of building and we need to save up some cash  No spacers Fr500s with some customwork done to them. 265 up front and 315 rear..no rubb at all. love how it looks. 69shelbycoupe 11 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 What is the wheel backspacing? I didn't know that 315's would fit with just lowering springs. Did you have to roll the lip?
h82lose 10 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 What is the wheel backspacing? I didn't know that 315's would fit with just lowering springs. Did you have to roll the lip? No i did not roll the lip. I think the mickey thompson tires are alittle smaller then others, when i had my Toyo R888 on it rubbed but not mutch it would have been fine if i rolled the lip but with the Mickes it fits VERY good. h82lose 10 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 The wheels are 18x10 and I dont have the backspace in my head right now.
69shelbycoupe 11 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 The wheels are 18x10 and I dont have the backspace in my head right now. Yeah if you can find out exact backspacing that would be great. I was only going with 17's but might go 18's since they fit without any modifications. I like that they tuck in the wheel well in the front and rear too
