The difference in temp & snow is one of the reasons my wife & I moved BACK to NJ but this time to south Jersey from Rochester, NY where we lived for 8 years. The difference in temp from Rochester to here in south Jersey today is about 15 degrees. Today is the first measureable snow fall here, 1".

70Mach03, The Hurst shifter lever you used do you remember the part number?. I found 2 different ones for the Fox Mustang with the T-5, part numbers 580035, & 580036. www.hurst-shifters.com/?wpsc_product_category=comp-stick-kits -
Sounds good, keep up the good work.

When I first started working in the car dealers in the late 70's we had to install the antennas which included drilling the holes for the antenna. You do not necessarly need to locate the hole on the underside of the fender, that is what the template is for. Line it up with the back edge of the fender & it will line up with the hole on the underside. You can double check it before drilling if you want to be sure. When I used the templates I never had a problem locating the underside hole.

LOL, that is very nice work.

OK stangnet33 if I stand facing the front of my 69 Coupe looking at the engine, if I look at the top of the shock towers where the upper shock mount is measuring from the inner edge of the nut (nut closest to the engine) on the top of the shock mount on the l/s shock tower to the inner edge of the same nut on the r/s shock tower mine measures at 29 1/8 inches across a straight edge. That is with the stock shock tower braces still installed. Maybe we can get some others to chime in with what they have. I hope my description makes sense. -
Angel, I was also looking at the kit from DrGas to add the reinforcement to the shock towers.

Bruce I am a GIANTS fan & I hope they beat the Cheese Heads this week.

Thanks guys, I had bought a used hood a while ago & was curious which one I had.
-
Buckeye my Coupe side quarter glass was like that one was tinted & one wasnt. I also found broken glass down inside the l/s rear trim panel when I was pulling out the window regulator like the window was broken at some point & was replaced with whatever they could find.

Your Mach-1 looks awesome.

Is there any difference between the 69 & 70 hoods? Are the hood lock/pin holes the same size? TIA, Mike.

Thanks for the info Tim, it has been very helpful. Mike.

Thanks guys, thats the info I was looking for. Thanks for the help. One more question, should I be using galvanized steel sheet, or cold rolled steel sheet?. TIA, Mike.

It is not like I am trying to avoid replacing them I have done them before, I have to replace the 2 front inner panels, my question is for the section were they overlap the very top of the shock tower flange that goes under the top of the front & rear aprons. Has anyone just patched those spots?.
