Hi, everyone! I have a 1969 coupe mustang with a 351W and a 3 speed transmission that has lots of problems. A friend of mine gave me a T5 gearbox with the part number 1352-246 that I came to find out that is a Ford 1994 Mustang 5.0 V8 WC. I want to make the swap but i found out (the hard way as always) that is not that easy. I bought the adapter plate (This one) but even with that it wont fit due to the larger input shaft. What options do i have to install this gearbox? I dont have money to buy a pre 93 transmission one so i have to figure out how to do this with what a have. Any advise?

Thank you guys for all the replays. Misery solved and it was from a place I never expected. I recently had my alternator pulley changed and it seems it was kind of loose, therefore it would only charge when idle. After a 40 min drive my battery was almost dead so when I tried to turn it on starter got stuck. My electrician told me that it's a common thing on this cars when the battery is low. Guess you learn something new every day :P

Hi everyone, after a long restoration I finaly got my car to a point where i can drive it so I decided to make a short road trip and there the problems started, most of them solved by now except this one. Yesterday I was arriving to the garage after a 45 min drive and turn off the car to open the garage door. When I tried to turn it on I hear a loud cranking noise that I assume was the starter. When I turn off the key the sound keeps going so I rush to the trunk to get a wrench to disconnect the battery but before I could disconnect it it stopped by itself. After it stopped I tried to turn it on but nothing, seemed the battery was dead. I call a friend so he could help me to jump start it. When he arrived I just turn the key and the car started like nothing happened. Today I went to start the car and started no problem. When I got to the garage door I turn it off so I could oppen the door and when I try to start it again nothing, battery seems dead again. Anyone had a problem like this? I been searching and I found similar problems where the solenoid, starter and ignition switch where the problems but before starting to buy new stuff I want to see if I can pinpoint the problem better. Hi everyone. I im need of some help, I was having some problems with my headlights and i could not find the cause so i took the car to an electircian. He told me the problem is that the switch that goes at the end of the underhood wiring was worn out so it want making a proper contact in the box. I have been searching for a replacement for that switch everywere with no luck. Can anyone tell me if they make reproductions of theese parts or if i have to find an old one? Thx and regards!!!

Hey everyone, I will be in Miami next week and I wanted to check some of the local Junkyards to see if I find some of the parts i am missing for the restoration. Can somone point me out some good junkyards to check in the zone where they could have 69 stangs?

I need the driver glass chrome trim and the 1/2 a set to install the back window trims. If anyone has these please let me know. Thx!!!!

Hi, I’m having some difficulties with the windows of my car and I think it’s probably because the old owner put windows that are not correct for a 69 stang. Can someone tell me the measures of a door window for a 69 coupe mustang? Long and wide? Thank you very much!!!

No, tank is not in. I get inside the trunk and see if the light from the lamp goes in and i have lots of places were i have 1/2 an inch of light, and if i move it to seal that space it will not be straight at all :P . I also have some problems that in some parts it seems that the weatherstrip is way too thick so i was wondering maby the repro from npd was not very good quality.

Hi everyone! Im in the last Stages of the restoration and I am stuck with the trunk weatherstrip and cant seem to figure out the problem:scared: making the problem short it wont seal propery! The seal is a new repro from npd. Anyone else had this problem? How did you solve it? Can you post pics of the seals you guy used?

I’m going crazy trying to find the Windshield trim clips (not the lower ones, the rest). Mine were all rusted and broken and now I want to find new ones but I can’t seem to find any new ones. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone knows a place where I can buy this?

Im looking for some misc parts to buy. - Right Head light grill bezel - Seat covers for hinge - Deluxe door wiring with the 2 rubbers that go in the door and pilar - Misc console parts (all the wiring, the trim plate and a wood grain panel with the 2 slots for the belts (manual transmission), the rear ash tray, the console lid and the hinge) - front side marker lights - Coupe window chrome - 3 Speed shifter knob - Hood Latch striker I buy some or all the parts together and I pay by paypal.
