  1. Today I started cutting the r/s rear quarter panel off in preperation for replacing the r/s skin & outer wheel house. As soon as I progress to the point where there is a noticable change I will snap a few pics & post them up.

  7. I just recently did a door skin on the r/s door of my 69 Coupe using a Dynacorn door skin & I am happy with how it turned out. I also wanted good doors on the car before fitting the quarter skins.
  8. Thanks for the reply 69gmachine but I do not need to replace the rear inner fender panels & just need some of the nuts to weld in place.
  9. I tried doing a search and didnt find what I was looking for so here goes, I am going to be replacing the 2 front inner fender panels soon on my 69 Coupe & noticed several of the welded in nuts on the rear inner fender panels that the hood hinges bolt to are missing & just have nuts & bolts. I thought that I read here that one of the parts venders has the replacement bolts for sale? I checked out CJ Pony Parts site & could not find them there. Anyone if the are repo'd?. TIA, Mike.
  10. When I have done them before I always hook the cable to the lever that hooks to the brake shoe first, then hook the lever to the shoe, & then continue with the rest of the pieces.
  11. IIRC the only difference in the two hoods like stated above is size of the cutout hole for the hood pins on a 69 vs the twist locks for a 70. Mike.
  12. I got a MIG conversion kit for my flux core welder & I need to get a gas tank for it & I need some sugestions. The welder is a Lincoln Weld Pak-155, 220V. Should I, rent the tank or buy the tank, & what size tank should I get. Any help would be appreciated TIA, Mike.
  13. WOW!! your coupe looks awesome, hope mine looks that good when I am finished with it.
  14. Are you looking for the standard black one? If so I have one in good condition with the clock.
  15. I need a l/s inside door release handle for a 69 Coupe, the part the rod hooks to, & the part you pull on to open the door. Price & shipping to 08757 please. Mike.
  16. When I did one on my first Mustang back in the late 70's I loosened the bolts a little at a time then went back & loosened them the rest of the way.

  20. IIRC When I have seen articles of them being done they have either gone in through the back window opening or through the door opening.
  21. Once you have the holes for the hood scoop drilled they are out side the opening for the shaker & you would have the 2 oval holes for the hood scoop lights in the hood also. You would need a new hood for the shaker.
  22. Yes I think they did, I thought I emember just recently Mustang Monthly had a small story on a 70 Vert with a 428 CJ.
