If they are the ones I'm thinking of they are a cast and will break if any undo hammering or pressure.I know its a pain but the fits are not the best, thats where the body work comes in.With new paint only you have the answer good luck.

If the holes are out of round where the pin goes easier to replace hinge because drilling them ,out unless you have a drill press to hold centered is dam near impossible. How do I know just say been there done that.New ones work fine.

I was reading your write up with interest as most people would on this forum.I would like to know if there is some place around you that sells the cunifer brake line as the finish layout around the contours of the rearend was what I was looking for when I used stainless but could not achieve.I live across the border in Sarnia so if you could direct me there or even a web site would be much appreciated.Keep up the good work -
Adjustments are on top of gearbox under the brake master cylinder.I would goggle the procedure there are some good write ups Don't over tighten because it will cause problems as well. There will be some play even when done its not like our new ones which are pretty tight. You can do it

I never made any plans or photos of it since it was only an idea in my head and wasnt sure how it would turn out.But if you want any suggestions or info on doing one give me a holler. The cost of it was approx 150 dollars and no special tools The only reason I did one was the oringinal was 700 dollars and no cup holders. The after market nice but not the look I wanted
