  1. Got the T-Shirt today . Thanks a lot. I hope the team did well !
  2. Check out TCP http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/
  3. I do not believe you have the correct cfm volume fan. I think that the 1400 cfm range is for the straight six. I just added a 3000 cfm puller fan to my 20" radiator and it cooled it down, but not enough for my liking. I have the stant 180* stat too on my 351C. I did notice that I have some oil seepage at the head gaskets. So I have on order a new set of amx bolts and gaskets for the intake, exhaust and heads. That should cool it down to where I would prefer it to be. I have either blown head gaskets or the tool that owned it before me did not replace the bolts with new.
  4. Ordered http://www.cjponyparts.com/total-control-products-coilover-rear-suspension-g-link-with-billet-control-arms-1967-1970/p/5813M20/ Happy to get rid of the leafs :thumbup1:
  5. Hmmm .... Does anyone have any input about repop deck lids and spoilers? Are they worth it as far as quality and fit? Or should I try to aquire an original?
  6. Yes please ... at least for curiosity sakes.
  7. Where the wing attaches to the pedestals, there is not another location that they can be mounted to the wing. In other words, I am not able to adjust the pedestals out farther. I do know that the guy I bought the car from used it as a parts car for another mustang. I think it was a Boss 302. But when I got it, the spoiler was on the trunk already and did not think much about it. So should I aquire the right trunk lid or can this one be modified to mount the "correct" spoiler to it? Thoughts???
  8. Is this the wrong spoiler or wrong trunk lid? I believe the spoiler is supposed to be bolted to the outside of the hinges. This just cannot be right. I need to know what I need to replace ... the spoiler or the trunk lid.
  9. OMFeakingG!! The spammers are getting bad on this site. Pakrat... please squish them!
  10. Well, I think it may be too late to do that. I have run the engine and believe the air pocket is somewhere deeper in the engine. Pakrat .... Wouldn't I need to squeeze the hose once the stat opens up? That would be a fairly hot hose? The rad overflow was puking (boiling over) telling me that I had air in the system and that is why it is running hot. Suggestions? Keep in mind I have a Cleveland and my rad. hose and heater core hoses are prolly in diff. locations.
  11. I had been running about 187* with my 180* stat until the day I had to work on my heater box. I had to disconnect the hoses to the heater core. Now I am running 200+*. I have a very strong suspicion that I now have air in the system. What is the best way to burp the cooling system?
  12. I have waxed and buffed over my stripes a few times since they were installed just over a year ago and no issues to this point.
  13. Looked like a mouse nest .... they apparently were busy over a number of years. I was told the car was garaged for 20 years before I got ahold of it. Needless to say, the defrost lever works perfectly now LOL.
  14. I got one for you .... My defrost lever would not move either ..... Look what I found in my heater box!
  15. Yes.... that is the piece I am needing!
  16. Funny thing that you brought this up .... back in the 80's when I was stationed a little north of San Diego, I put "California Gold" (that is what the pump called it) in my Datsun pickup ... it was 104 octane and it did seem to me that I got a little more pep with the pedal and got an extra 120 miles to that tank on the way back home for some time off. I don't know but back then, I would have always used that higher octane if I could have found it anywhere else.
  17. No it doesn't have to be a 69 ..... I believe 67-70 will fit fine. As far as finding one,I have been searching for one for nearly a year. Funny thing is... I saw a couple on Ebay about a year or so ago and thought ... good that piece shouldn't be too hard to find......Have not seen one since LOL ARG !!
  18. Anyone? This is proving to be a pain to find
  19. I am very interested and I would like to sponsor a kid too.
  20. I have the 770 Holley Street Avenger w/vacuum secondary on my 351C and it runs excellent!!
  21. Yeah .... I don't believe I could justify driving to MI from here to my wife :sneaky2:. That trip would cost nearly 1500 bucks for a gamble that the rear end wouldn't need to be rebuilt
  22. WTB a 9" rear end that fits my 69 Mach 1. I found that what I have currently is from a truck and the pinion angle is pretty severe and that angle is causing vibration.
