b1002 10 Report post Posted September 7, 2014 Does anyone on this forum own this 1969 mustang or know what the paint color is? Got the photo from Street or Track Facebook page. I'll keep looking around thanks for the help
michael2938 24 Report post Posted September 7, 2014 Doesn't look like an original 69 color to me. But then again the lighting could be making it look off.
tim42 13 Report post Posted September 7, 2014 Keep it. I'm experimenting with the original Black Jade and Tuxedo Black Metalic or Black Jade and Sterling Grey Metalic. The same for the tail light panel.

70-DropTop 12 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 Looks exactly like the color of my ride: "performance red". My '00 Stang was that color...and I liked it so much, I put the color on my 70. I get compliments all the time on that color. Every so many years, Ford brings it back and gives it a new name. My '12 F150 is a very similar color: "Race Red". Performance Red has a small hint more orange in it.

STL. Mark 11 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) It looks like a color Ford used on the 1999 -2004 Mustangs called Performance Red. The paint code is ES. That is the color Ipainted on my 69. That had some orange in it but I am not sure. Edited October 22, 2014 by STL. Mark
