latoracing 256 Report post Posted September 5, 2012 It turned out quite nice! Now you can go enjoy driving it, and taking it to some shows to let others see a very nice GT.

MustangGT 11 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 Very nice looking. Is that chrome trim from the front fender under the doors and onto the rear quarters? Not sure I have seen that before. Where did you get it? Makes me want mine done faster! But instead of faster I am going to have to settle for right -- since I would prefer right instead of right now :-)

Pakrat 1,043 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 Looks super clean, nice job! The first car I looked at when I was first shopping way back when was a Silver Jade GT convertible with a 428, was out of my price range though.

Flanders 46 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 Very cool. Looking forward to some FE shots. Jim *cough* how about some 351W shots? :D
Jimjific 23 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 Ooops, my bad, for some reason I thought it was a 390. Bring on the 351 shots! Jim
Flanders 46 Report post Posted September 10, 2012 Adding a few more pictures... 351W: tried to keep it simple and clean. I like a little chrome ;) Interior: This turned out really well: my rear parcel shelf was warped pretty badly (water damage from leaky rear window) and stained. Rather than buy a new one, I got some 3M trim spray glue and a bit of black vinyl. I cut a couple holes out for speakers (not too concerned with cutting holes in the metal base) and presto! Once everything was tightened down, it looks great. yep, just need to get rid of the red floor mats :)
chillininnh 21 Report post Posted September 10, 2012 It really did come out very nice. Silver Jade is the original color of mine. It looks like you're using an automatic shift bezel, did you add the stick?
