going to run air to water for this set up. Never done it before, so it will be fun.

Wanted to keep the heat off of the fire wall. Got some gold heat tape. Also did this last year in the supra. works good.

Doing some powder coating. Some parts were too big for the oven, so had to extend it a bit. worked out good.

Here is a pic of the motor. Made the intake. Never seen one like this on this scale. Got the idea from a local guy on a smaller scale. Something unique and different.

Got the motor in. Took several times to make it fit. must of put it in and out 4 to 5 times.

Worked on the cold side from the turbos to the air to water. The bov also installed. Just in front of the air to water, the heat exchanger is installed.

Fan on with a different rad. It's slightly smaller (width), but thicker. Should work good still.

Thanks guys! The motor came out of a 2008 shelby gt500. But I want to see how the chassis likes 700-750 wheel before more power. If she's a dog down low I will spray it lol

At this point I just want to get it tuned and drive it.

Yikes! I'm guessing the 351C was too easy on the tires??? I didn't read where you've added any chassis support, so I suppose you didn't. If I you, I'd be looking into sub frame connectors, convertible inner rockers, convertible one piece seat riser, roll bar and anything else that would stiffen these creak boxes we own.

From the look of the pics you've done some really nice work. For the cost of your new motor, you wouldn't have to use a poor man's paint both :) I'm not into Japanese cars, but if I was the Supra might be at the top of my list. Those turbo'd six bangers call haul butt.

Ya bob them supras if built properly can haul pretty good. I still have to go back on the dyno with that car with the race fuel tune. Should be between 1200-1300 rear wheel.

After you drive that car then hop in the ol stang, I just had to upgrade. Also I raced my buddies 04 cobra and lost pretty bad, and I raced a guy with a 502 gto and lost bad as well.

I absolutely love the sound of that 351c with the shorties on, but just wasn't enough for me. I suppose there could of always been an upgrade to a 408, but I have not scene anyone do a 5.4 twin turbo in these cars yet. Also you would be suprised on how many thumbs up , pics and vids, you get in the stang compared to the supra. I bet 10 to 1. :)

I did do some sub frame connectors, but I don't think that will be enough. Make sure you take notes on your cage, then I can get the info when your done Bob ;)

Notes? Notes? We don't need no stinking notes! Hopefully when I'm done, I will have forgotten all the "fun" I had doing it. By definition it's only a roll bar. To check out a real cage, look up latoracing on this site. He my friend, is a master fabricator who is putting in a spectacular cage.

Thanks bob. I will check it out.

Got the car to start. Didn't get the 1st start up, but I got the 2nd start. The squeak near the end of the crank is the alt turning on. Can't make it turn on later. It's working, so i'm leaving it. Couldn't embed the video so click on the link.

The mufflers are loud in the garage, I'm addressing this soon. I do lots of driving in the evenings and early am, so I got to quiet it down some.

Got back from the Dyno. Its a mustang Dyno btw. The car made 675 rwhp and 640 ft lbs. had the alt seize up on the final run. It is solid. Had to take the belt off so I could start the car and load it up. Lol some minor things to fix but all in all it was an ok day. Probably lost 20 hp when the alt went. Bran new alt as well. Ha. My goal was 700 wheel, but 24.3 hp off isn't bad. Tuned on 91 pump gas. I'll try to get a vid loaded up one day soon.

Back from the dead. Here is some updated pics. We moved the rad to infront on the fan now, and put the fan on the back side with better results. Made ducting and the trottle bodies have been upgraded to rmr. The heater core has been replaced as well.

Back from the dead once again. Did some minor updates

Didn't like the big dead spot from the cowl hood, so had to switch up the intake to make more viewing area. Got a hold of a 2000 cobra r lower intake and made an upper hat for it. Went to a single 4" TB instead of the dual 3" tb's. Found a used hood for $75 with no cutouts on it. Perfect for what i was going to do. I really like the no hood latch and positive locking hood latches, so I took out the twist locks and ordered some aero hood latches. Had great success with them on the supra.

Cobra R lower intake. Longer runners should put the curve to the left more

Boss 429 hood scoop, It's needs some minor alteration

Added some fiberglass and spaced it up for clearance

primed and test fit

Painted

Also worked on the exhaust. Notice the Vibrant 4" oval for better ground clearance

Engine bay. Built another top intake, looks identical, but thicker top. Added Rad covers and turbo shields/ covers
20150422_214417_zpslcd6g0h9.jpg

Some better seats. The stock seats are a bad ride. These are way firmer and will actually hold me in (I hope)
music%20cover%20367_zpso96op7rl.jpg

Got some new wheels (black bullitts). New rear tires (MT 305/35 18) and reused the front tires (had about 100km on then since bought). Blacked out the chrome for a different look. More aggressive feel to it. Lots are 50/50 on it. I don't mind it. Notice the mirrors. I like them better over stock myself, again not for everyone

Will have to re book a dyno/ tune again.

Another twin turbo!!!  Good to see I am not the only one who makes multiple changes to the setup!  Very nice build.  How much total boost are you running?

Ha! It's hard to make it fun without sacrificing drivability. That's my problem. It is tamed down from last year. After a ten min drive it was very hard for street ability. I think I nailed it now. Lol

These mod motors like max timing at 18deg. So with that being said the boost is relative to the timing. The boost is at 20 lbs. Maxed out 91pump basically. The only next step to get more power is to build the motor. I could of pushed it more, but wanted reliability. All of the supporting mods are built for 1200-1500 wheel. I don't know if the old girl can handle that power without major chassis work.

Very cool build you got there. I enjoy the turbo cars. I have herd good things about the Holley ecu's.

She looks badass! I love the color.

I am limiting mine to 20PSI as well.  I have a 9:1 Comp ratio and 91 Octane with a touch of methanol, and some E3s.  May think about a wet meth system at some point. Do you know what comp ratio you are using?  I  am also running a T5 tranny and an 8  inch trac lok rear, so one of those two will blow first. LOL.  You have done some amazing fab work, and I bet when you raise the hood people oooh and ahhh!

What boost do you see with no load?

The Holley HP is the perfect EFI for dummies (me), as well as, more advanced users which I like.

Again, sweet ride you got there!
