  1. Did u do a change shock towers to get 460 to fit in?
  2. Thanks for the info , i don't see any plug in the trunk tail light area to plug into . I checked around the whole trunk area. Trunk area harness is uncut and intact to its taillight/side marker locations. I looked also for that Green Yellow wire on rear wheel well ,both sides in fact. Nothing . I looked underneath dash drivers side , i found an unused green yellow red bullet connector wire about 5 inches length. Checked drivers door sill for that wire , its not there. Mine is missing it. My car is a earlier 69 . I am thinking Unless someone down the line replaced the tailight harness at one point. Its looks factory though.
  3. I am looking to add a factory trunk light to my 69 mach . I need the Underdash factory wire Green with Yellow stripe and red type connectors on the ends 1 male 1 female i believe. Runs from drivers side underdash along side doorsill to rear wheel well. For which trunk light connector connects to. If u have one . Let me know how much , shipped to 93706. Fresno , Ca. Thanks, u can message me.
  4. Is anybody running Jba Headers on their 69 Stang with 351w ,T5, cable clutch, and a Borgeson P/S system. The Borgeson gear box is a bit larger thus giving me less clearance on the Driver's Side. I tried the stock exhaust manifolds and fit just barely clearing the Borgeson gear box by about 3/8". but if I have no choice will go that route. I like the Jba but the clearance issue and $$$$$ issue is at hand. Any input is appreciated.:gunsmilie:
  5. Does anybody know if the exhaust manifold ports on the 289 hipo are the same size as the 351w mach1 1969 exhaust manifolds. Or is there an advantage on using the exhaust manifolds 289 hipo over the 351w ones?:gunsmilie:
  6. Yes , I am here in fresno live out inthe country side towards Kerman Ca. How is your car coming along. Sounds like your engine is going to be a beast. I blew out rod bearings on my 351w about 2 years ago. and it has been parked, i have been working on it made alot of changes on it since then engine and tranny are different now. I changed it to a T5 now . almost done. Hopefully by summer JUNE my car will run again. I see you are close by in Bakersfield. Jaime

  9. Will the global west subframe connectors work with the shelby traction bars ?
  10. check the Transmission Vacuum Modulator and the vacuum hose that goes to it. Sometimes the Hose that goes there is cracked or torn of old age causing a Vacuum leak which will make the tranny not shift right.
  11. check water pump pulley to see if it has any play. water pump bearing could be going out.
  12. Payaso25, is there any play in the steering wheel or is it tight feeling with no play, since installing your New Borgeson unit. I just noticed this new unit being advertised yesterday by Mustangs Plus. I am curious , because I currently don't have P/steering and would like to have it one day.
  13. I am going to have my brother tack weld together an old hurst shifter handle,to a T5 bottom piece shifter handle which i cut , the part with the 2 holes, to fit the T5 base shifter. The ? is, Is the handle supposed to be at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock position. or offset a bit.
  14. I used WaterWetter , my stang was still tending to overheat going thru drive thru's. My set up 20" stock rad wo A/C. Edelbrock waterpump . 351W , M/Trans. Flex Fan. Fan shroud. Here in Fresno, Ca tends to get in the 110 degrees in July Aug Months. Like Angel , whether water wetter works is hard to say , But I also like to think it does. I am currently considering a 24" aluminum rad stock mounting preferred, also looking into adding a 16" electric fan with fan shroud.
  15. Just wondering which short shifter is best, using on a t5 conversion. wondering on Steeda shifter and hurst shifter. Any recommendations?
  16. How much would it be to ship the pair of Lakewood mounts to Fresno, Ca, 93706. Thanks
  17. 5.0 Block Plate , T5 or c4 tranny mount, I believe clutch set has to clear t5 bellhousing so I am going with CenterForce DF021048 10.5" 10spline 1 1/16 input shaft, t5yoke, t5 shifter. Pressure plate bolts with 3 dowel pins to avoid clutch chatter. I am gathering the parts my self for the t5 conversion. I am almost there. I am considering going with a clutch cable set up too.Hopefully by June I'll get it running.
  18. I have the edelbrock rpm Performer Intake along with the edelbrock rpm performer Heads, edelbrock thunder series 650cfm carb. 351w works great for me. I have the stock hood with Non fuctional hood scoop.
  19. I think your headlight switch Needs to be replaced.
  20. I used the Fel-pro one piece oil pan gasket paid like 39.00. Still had a small leak from oil pan. When i took the oil pan off, the gasket had a crack or tear right in the corner back hump area where it tucks in. When installing I was extra careful not to over tighten. I think next time I will try the thick bead of silicone. Good idea. I know the bead of silicone works on the intake front and back ends with no leaks for me.
