So are the new reproduced ones not exactly the same as the factory originals?

Tr3650 ,sorry i dont know anything about it . I did a T5 conversion on mine. Some of the other guys might know tho.

U will need a T5 crossmember which are already fabricated to fit a t5 to a 69 mustang . One member here just posted one for sale in the Parts for Sale section. You can modify your original trans crossmember with welding and measuring to adapt it . Once you put T5 in car you can install the crossmember afterwards.

I went with the optima mainly for the same reason described. Sealed gel battery . No Acid leaks to my battery area. So far So Good!! No acid mess. Good power . I 've had this battery for over 4years. I've been happy with it. No complaints yet.

Would i be able to change out the gears by myself u think. A novice in mechanics. I hav a set of factory 3.25 gears i would like to use for that truetrac .

What is tag code ? How much ?

FYI Some radio knobs just posted on ebay under (1969 mustang mach radio knobs).auction bids. Used .

The first one you show, i took off a early 70's lincoln car at junk Yard . The Second one you show , you still need a separate original control box which you need to work together. So yeah too much $$$$$$$ ! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Do i just simply bypass at the tach harness when i disconnect factory tach ? Is that all i need to do or change ? also it seems like Redline Guage Works specialize in converting the tach , any one else you guys recommend. Thanks.

1969 mach 351w with Factory Tach, just thinking about it , sending it in for 3 wire tach internals conversion. What else is needed to do for this change? Is it to much trouble? Do i have to change out other things ?

69 mach 351w 5sp with tach , got new msd 85840 distributor , 6al digital box . Need help on tach Adapter install. Which adapter to use ? Confused. Read alot on web and they all seem to use different adapters or methods. Does some one have this install or diagram they used that worked for them?

on 69 mustangs , which style tilt steering columns came in our cars from Factory? is it Tilt-Away steering. Or just Up and down movement style. Would it be hard to convert from factory fixed steering column to Factory correct tilt? Just curious how much work and parts is needed? thanks

Thanks . No what i mean as far as the way the teeth line up with the roll pin on the shaft? Is there any difference . does it matter? Looks like teeth are offset on one side of gear and other side of gear centered along roll pin hole .

I forgot to mark which direction the gear was when i removed distributor gear on a Msd distributor 351c msd 8580.Does it matter which way it went or am i going to have to send it to msd to install gear. I rather do it my self . I messed up:oops:::crying:
