I like your plan of just getting the car roadworthy and enjoying driving the car, the interior looks to be in very good condition anyway, well done, i bet you can't wait to get in on the road.

So it sounds like the pistons in the wheel cylinders have seized, you can try to slacken off the adjuster at the back of the drum brake and try to take off the brake drum that way

Wire 19 is the supply wire from the headlight switch to the fuse panel, which then feed the dash lights and other circuits using wires #19A,B,C,D,E. As far as I know they are all blue with a red stripe. Do you have 12+v at the fuse when you headlight switch is on?

OK, just make sure you have the correct pedal, should be 4-1 ratio, similar to this one.Master should be 1" as well.

    11/20/2017 CCC UPDATE
They say the 3rd times a charm. Well I agree. Very happy with my newly designed center console. One thing I could not do was incorporate some cup holders into the existing frame work, so Mich'l, my beautiful wife and I brainstormed a bit and she came up with the cup holder design you see in the photos. Great idea!! No more cold water bottles between the legs on long cruses. The cup holder fits snug enough yet can be put away during car shows. The 4 way stretch vinyl was easy to work with and the adhesive the real deal. She's already for next weekends AmeriCarna Live Car Show in North Carolina. Last car show for the year for me.

You can check if the valve inside the block has moved by check with a meter on ohms, one lead to the block(ground) and the other to the contact, should be open circuit if central.

If its stalling in traffic it could be the carb is getting too hot, try a spacer it may solve that issue.

If you are running the original coil, you still need to use the pink resistor wire.

Some times you can get the decal on without removing the needle, but if you do, the two pieces of soft wood and two small screwdrivers either side and it should pries off.

You may need to have an elongated slot, so the accelerator linkage only comes in contact with the rod towards the end of its travel to operate the rod, my vette is like that.

If the paint on the dash doesn't work out you can recover with textured vinyl over the dash not to hard to do if you have a heat gun.

I know the feeling, when you remove the firewall its like the point of no return. i made my own from sheet metal otherwise you can end up with a patch work quilt. I believe from what I have read that the 69/70 year is a lot easier that other years because the dash parts are removable. ;-)

I have an RRS power steering rack using the original pump. I think this will be the easiest part. The rack looks very well made. Can't wait to see how it drives.

Awesome, interested in the conversion, I have just finished a RHD conversion on my 65FB, so hopefully I will start my 69 next year. I use the Falcon xf variable power steering box and falcon saginaw pump. I will follow your progress with interested.

    Lol those damn Russians....
Let's see if it'll let me embed a YouTube clip.. first one is a walk around of where we are in the process. Some things were removed to trouble shoot the tune so the engine cover, engine bay cover, etc are off. Also, for some reason the iPhone just can't pick up the true color of the car. I attached a pic of the heat extractor at the end for reference

Hey Fvike, do the Ringbrothers hinges open a bit further with out the gas strut fitted or is it in the hinge mech? Love your workshop by the way.

Nice progress, photos a bit small though. I made the firewall for my 65 from sheet metal, so there is only two pieces to the firewall, other wise it can look like a patch work quilt.
