That's a beautiful blue. What is it?

Nice looking ride. Mine came the same color.

Those are nice, but they are like every other sequential light on the market... blink...blink...blink...off. The digi tails actually have each column of LEDs a fraction delay of each other so you get a wave effect. It waves on from inside to outside, and then it waves off from inside to outside. If you pause the video at the right time, you can see the different columns lit up. The easiest way to see what I mean is to watch the 69-70 Charger video. Those tail lights are so long it is easy to see. I hope they eventually make them for the Shelby/Cougar/T-bird lights. Those would look pretty cool with how long they are. I think for the extra $30 it is well worth the coolness factor. That being said, I think any upgrade from stock, when it comes to tail lights, is a huge improvement.

Black exterior door handles and locks

You can sandblast off the chrome, and then paint them. Not as durable as powder coating, but it's an option, and it's usually a better finish. -
I have been following this company for years after we installed a set of the LED lights on a Camaro we were building. I was actually contemplating grafting in a Camaro tail light panel into my Mustang just to get these lights. These are the coolest LED sequential tail lights I have ever seen. I called them a couple years ago and they said they were working on tail lights for the 69-70 Mustangs. I thought they gave up on it because it had been so long. Good things come to those who wait, because now they are finally out, and I don't have to cut up my tail light panel. Click on the video tab under the pictures. Check the videos to the other cars also. They are all awesome. https://digi-tails.com/1969-ford-mustang-led-tail-light-panels

My two boys and I have RC trucks. My wife could care less, until she sees the receipt after we come back from the hobby shop with a bag of parts. I have a few videos of my now 9 year old driving his. It's pretty fun, when you find the right spot. The street gets boring pretty quickly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ABTjzS3scQ

I haven't had much time to make some progress on the car, but my 9 year old made a review video of his Boss 302 he got for Christmas. He enjoyed making it, so I thought I would share. He wants to make another one of all of his Mustang Hot Wheels. If you have seven minutes to kill, he would love the views and any comments. Thanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Euh_zz9_SiI

Where did you decide to have the work done?

I am in Buena park going to the fab ford show, who else is going
MustangBobby replied to Rsanter's topic in The Garage
I loved going to that show. We would take my brothers 70 Cougar Eliminator when he was stationed in Oxnard in the late 90's. Massive amounts of cars, plus discount tickets into the park. Fun times. -
Need opinion: Sweet spot front fender to wheel height?
MustangBobby replied to prayers1's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I like #2 with the rear a little lower. -
Sparky GT definitely wins for best decorated!!
-
I do it the same way Ridge Runner does.

Well, I was finally able to finish the passenger side fender apron. It was pretty much an exact repeat of the driver side. Removed the rotten metal from the top seams and made a single piece to eliminate the lines. I'm having issues loading pics, but luckily for me, it looks just the pics in the previous posts. Just Imagine it flipped around. Thanks for looking.

1969 Mach 1 S Code 390 Pro Touring Build - Going all the way!

I was wondering the same thing. Bummer. -
I found out, not too long ago, that the "go to", American made tools for the average at home mechanic, are now made in China. I had a hard time believing it when I heard, so I went down to Sears, and sure enough, the wrenches, ratchets, sockets, all Chinese made. The screwdrivers still said USA, but I'm sure that is just the stock that is left. One more American made company dead. Hold those American made Craftsman tools a little tighter the next time you use them. And maybe think twice about using a screwdriver handle as a hammer, because that free replacement will be from China. Time for me to find another brand. It was a sad day.

Mud Flaps - ?? would like ideas
MustangBobby replied to Print Dad's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
+1 ^^^^^^. That is what I use. The black metal clips work great. You can also use old windlace. Just cut it into a few 2" pieces. One of my buddies went cross country with his for the 50th, and they stayed the entire way. And then they are easily removed for a show. -
Apparently I need a computer class. Why can people post pic upon pic in their build threads, and I only have 7 KB left in mine? What's the trick?
-
Many thanks.
-
Apparently the switch lost pics for some. I was one of them. In one post, I uploaded 3 pics that were 104KB each with no problem. In the next post, I have 175 KB total to upload pics. I am confused. What am I missing?
-
I like it. Thank you for your work. I really love not having to scroll left and right to read a thread. Thanks again.

If you are talking tail lights, I found this video a couple of days ago. It makes up my mind.
-
Well... whose car is it and what size of tires are they running?
-
Wish I could weld upside down that well. Hell, I wish I could weld vertically that well. What kind of welder are you using?
-
I will be shortly, and Jay Leno's word is good for me.
-
I would use Evans Waterless Coolant. It is non corrosive, environmentally friendly, doesn't freeze, and has a boiling point over 300*. It is expensive, but it also will last the life of the car. This episode of Jay Leno's Garage talks all about it.
