  1. Rich, I have what you are looking for. I have 2 1969 sport housings with pedestals, 1 driver and 1 passenger. Driver side cable is missing but mirror is still attached. Pass side is 100 %. PM me with an offer, I have no idea what to ask. I am sure we can agree on something. John....
  2. Thank you, will pick one of these up. Never ending details with these machines as I try to bring mine back to original.
  3. Thank you, I did not know that. learn more details everyday with these cars.
  4. The top of the fins are not painted. After painting I cleaned the tops off with some solvent and there was no need to polish.
  5. I have the C70E-6750-A stick in my 69CJ. When I put 6 quarts in the oil level is at the "RR" in the word warranty which is at the same level as the "safe" markings on the DOOE-6750C stick. If you have a SCJ with the oil cooler add another quart for a total of 7. From what I have read the original issue was related to drag cars and oil starvation when racing that caused blown engines. Not likely to be an issue with street cars. I ran 5 quarts for many years and never had an oil pressure problem , but I changed to 6 quarts several years ago just to be safe. I don't know what the stick you have is from, but do as jholmes217 recommends and mark your stick.
  6. Looks like he is about 20 years late with that ad.
  7. This was just an old craigslist link post. The person has a new link ----> https://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/pts/5953259400.html No one in this post is selling anything, it was just an FYI.
  8. I loved the claim that it handles good in the corners.
  9. +1 on this. In addition to my other upgrades I also replaced the switch. I worked my way around the issue a piece at a time as most of these parts needed to be changed anyway.
  10. Had the same issue (dim lights) several years ago. I replaced the alt(and its wiring) and the harness from the firewall on out. Wires were just too old. Also make sure the engine is grounded properly. Lights were normal after that. Your alt and it's wiring could be fine. Check them with a voltage meter and go from there.
  11. I would also put an ad on https://www.428cobrajet.org .
  12. Local to you and interested in the other parts you may be selling. Pickup would not be an issue.
  13. Interested in the am/fm. Can you post or pm the part number?
  14. I believe all you need to take off is the dash pad and the piece above your glove box to get at it.
