Looks nice, on the fifth picture how are you doing 60 with the door open and no one in the drivers seat. :whistling: :tongue_smilie: Do you have a write-up or pics on your gauge conversion? Did you do it yourself? Thanks for sharing.

Mine's the same place as Coz's.

Looks like fun, congrats on the achievement.

Congrats on the progress, I know its a great feeling.

If it was me I would let it pass, in OH at the swap I saw a 71 351C w/C6 trans go for 400. A 4 bolt block w/oil gallery work done go for around 300, all cleaned and ready to build.
-
Probably pretty high since the didn't start making the 351C until 1970. At any rate it would really depend on the heads and condition of the block. If its all together and you can't verify condition I would say 250-350 range.

Nice show, my first time attending and would go again. Found a few little things, but didn't find any seats like I was looking for.

Chrysler rack and pinion?
Grabber70Mach replied to 69_302RustangFB's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
What rack and pinion? What didn't you like about it? Are you looking to sell it? If so I call first dibs. -
Looking good, but why would you go so far on disassembling the car and not remove the door strikers? I would think any future adjustments that you would have to make them would be revealing.
-
Thanks I appreciate it.

Nice thanks for sharing, do you have a side pics of the 69 with the razor rims on it? It's labeled MC167.

How to get the rear end a bit up
Grabber70Mach replied to 69mustang351W's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Ok I'll be the voice of dissent, I would not recommend using air shocks to raise up your car. The upper shock mounts are not strong enough to support the car. They will eventually crack or completely push through the mounting point. -
Suspension/Steering Replacement
Grabber70Mach replied to flight96's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
+1 on what bnickel said. One thing to note those shocks if I remember correctly from talking to John will make the car ride rough. He has said that the KYB's are good for the front and the Grab-a-trac shocks for the rear. But I would really recommend that you give him a call. -

Suspension/Steering Replacement
Grabber70Mach replied to flight96's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Talk with John at http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com/index.html Can't say enough about his roller spring perches. He won't over sale you on stuff that you don't need just to make a buck. He knows these suspensions inside out. -
my new 69 fastback project 351c 4 speed shaker
Grabber70Mach replied to GT350's topic in Project Progress Forum
That will look sweet, you going to go with the flat black on the hood treatment. I've seen it on the 03 Mach's and love the way it contrasts.
