newstang got a reaction from RPM in 69 Vert project
I bought seatbelts from a ford e150 with the extended part so i can mount the belt and grab them.
Judging by what other people have done this should clear the frame. (At least I hope, it is really welded in there now)
Does anyone see a potential interference issue with the top frame?

Got my rear corners in from RidgeRunner! He is a life saver.
Drilled them out, blasted, and primed them.

AODE does not have the kickdown, its electronic. you would need a controller from US Shift
the 4R70W is the same tranny essentially and is far better.
If looking for one for a 302/351 you will want one out of a 95ish e150, the bellhousing is made for the sbf instead of the modulars.

newstang got a reaction from RPM in decided to make a frame jig
Its not just my hobby shop. I manufacture fireplaces for hotels so it has to be big.
Its a good thing my wife is the landlord. I can get away with being late on rent :-)

I really LOVE my new chop saw, it is nothing like that abrasive blade junk.
cuts through steel like it were Balsa wood ( also cuts wood )
the only downside is the chunk shavings it shoots out really hurt!

newstang got a reaction from Grabber70Mach in Redo of my Mach1 restomod 4.6
So it runs and drives ( kinda ) I took it to get the wheel alignment. the tranny slips like crazy and it's completely redone.
I took it back to my shop and checked the fluid hot, and there was a dry dipstick. I added 3 quarts and its showing up. still seems to slip. I don't know if maybe I just let it sit overnight and recheck this, or being I have a 2800 stall converter someone told me this may be the case. (which I doubt ) God I miss my 5 speed manual already. If there is a problem with this tranny IM GONNA BE PISSED!

Everything works again, apparently the OD servo wasn't connected to the band so it wouldn't go into OD. luckily we were able to do it from removing only the valve body

Thanks, got it running, but something is off. I adjusted my fuel pressure and seems better. To damn hot here in the northeast to work on a car.
