Hux 45 Report post Posted November 8, 2019 So you rerouted the fuel line down the tunnel? Where are the brake lines now or are they in the same sleeve?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted November 8, 2019 Brakes lines would be in the sleeve.
1969Fstback 58 Report post Posted November 20, 2019 I looked at a 68 yesterday a guy I know inherited. Wants to sell it. He was told it was 428 car. Sadly it was not. Was a 302 2v with 351 motor. Car was in about as many pieces as possible. But the body was in real good shape. I don't need another project. If it was 428 car I would have figured something out. mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted December 17, 2019 I was surprised that we were able to make a coupe trunk package fit the Cougar, since it's 3 inches long than a Mustang.
aslanefe 333 Report post Posted December 17, 2019 Why would someone change everything on the car with never sytle but keep it carbureted?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted December 18, 2019 Good question, I guess it's just personal choice on what you like. We build them the way they want since their paying for it :)

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted December 20, 2019 Front end is back together except for the park lights. The customer furnished us with a custom one piece grille. On this one the eye lids don't open up. 1 Grabber70Mach reacted to this

If he ever has to change his lights, the entire assembly will have to come off including the fender extensions. We did open up the headlight doors so at least he can adjust them. I'm sure that's what he wanted but man, he's going to regret that once a light goes out. BTW, been following this thread since the beginning. You folks do amazing work. mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted December 21, 2019 Here's a better shot from the front. I pity the guy if he ever has to change a light.
Grabber70Mach 107 Report post Posted December 30, 2019 While it looks nice I'm not digging that it doesn't flip up when using the lights. I think he'll end up regretting it and having problems from Johnny Lawman if he drives it much at night.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted December 30, 2019 He's going to have a mess on his hands when it comes time to replace a light.
copb8 97 Report post Posted December 30, 2019 Even if he loves the look I'd have had you guys cut the grill and fabricate it so that the panels in front of the lights could be unscrewed and removed. It could've been done without visually impacting the look he wants and considering the money spent so far I can't see it being that costly.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted December 30, 2019 We did make it so he can adjust the headlights without pulling the front end off.
