Shep69 149 Report post Posted September 9, 2015 Anyone purchased the ford tooling sill/scuff plates. They are a twice the price than the repro ones . Are they worth the money? Meant to be made using thicker material? Just wanted to check before purchase the NPD ones. Cheers Mark. 1 bobbynb2 reacted to this
Raven R code 281 Report post Posted September 10, 2015 I have been noticing that NPD carries top notch products. Their Magnum 500's are from specialty wheel and seat foam from American cusion industries.....which is the best stuff out there. I would bet if they say it's good...good chance it is. Ridge Runner 1,113 Report post Posted September 10, 2015 The aftermarket ones are very thin and bend easily .I have new old stock ones for mine .I haven't tried the new ford tooling but i bet they are better .
rockhouse66 22 Report post Posted September 10, 2015 The Ford tooling ones are definitely worth the extra $$. You will regret buying the cheaper ones.

Wycked69 20 Report post Posted September 21, 2015 I bought a set of stainless steel ones and never looked back... So did I. I too happen to like them. Much heavier and the fit is pretty decent. Off course, my original holes were welded up and re-drilled.
