hood scoop turn signal

Short Question ..
I want to scoop hood turn signal.
What do I need? Only this cable?
Will it be connected here?

On a '69 there is another harness that runs to the front and ties into the front turn signals to activate the hood mounted turn signals.

The turn signals un plug at the front of the car ,a jumper harness plugs in between the turn signal and the factory wire and goes back to the hood scoop .I think you can buy this jumper wire now .

This wire is the scoop wire ,there is one more that goes to the front of the car

Just buy the harness that goes to the front of the car and the wiring will become self explanatory.

The plug in you have circled in the first pic ,Does it just wind around the main harness and run to the front of the car ?

Also ,was it a scooped hood original. That may be the front lead to the turn signals but it is hard to see to tell .

All the wiring harnesses are available from most Mustang shops. Search for front and intermediate turns signal harnesses. They are out there. Let us know what vendor you are using and maybe we can search for you.

You can also use that harness you have pictured and tap into the turn signal wires near the bulkhead connector.  Solder and shrink tube seal any splice connections to the original harness.  The result is a cleaner installation and fewer plug in connectors to corrode and cause problems.

I do not think this has been answered, but the connector you have circled in the first photo connects to t the brake balance switch ( I cannot remember what it is exactly called).  But it is the switch on the brake pressure lines that senses a pressure mismatch.
