I agree, even if we all have to chip in a little money to update the software, its better than dealing with the SPAM mucking things up for everyone. Its probably some 17 year old Russian terd!

 

I'm a computer Noob!, so I have no idea what's need to stop this crap. If its better software, then I'm willing to donate to help

I'd certainly be willing to donate for an upgrade as well. Also, I've noticed many forums available on the ios app, Tapatalk (like Vintage Mustang Forum). Any chance an upgrade could get us there as well?

Unfortunately this is what happens when I take even one day off. Although I am an Admin BSwor is the only one who can modify any forum software, I simply do not have full and complete access to the forum. As we all learnt recently Ben is selling his unfinished '69 project and finally moving on. I'll try to push him to make some upgrades or if he truly wants out to somehow turn the site over to me so I can do them.

 

Meantime I'll review some of the Moderator offers I have received over the holidays and enlist some new help for the first of the year.

We were hit on another forum at the first of the year ,i have limited mod abilities there .It was some pill pusher .In just a mater of minutes he had hit almost every board at least once .About all i could do was report it and tried to collect them and move them to the testing zone were they would be out of the way until some one could delete them.

This here was the worst i have seen yet .

Thanks for getting the site back up and running. A lot of good people here. Unfortunately, I cannot afford any donations like some others. The economy in northern Calif. is still fairly bad. A few people are thriving, but the majority like us are still scraping by.
