  2. If you knew "everyone" would turn their nose up at your desire to build an Eleanor perhaps you should have kept that to yourself, Pak was kidding Big. Good luck with the sale!
  3. Call me crazy but I thought you asked for everyones "take"? I see a nice car that has some rust issues, 18K is gonna be a tough sell.
  4. Here's a link you might like, check out his whole site, the man does nice work! http://photos.mustangsbymike.com/Mach-1-Hood
  5. Put me down for Gulfstream Aqua with white interior. Mine was originally Silver Jade, was red when I bought it.
  6. I installed the manual TCP unit and wish I had sprung for the power. It's higher effort than I had hoped, but I'm getting used to it.
  7. I believe most epoxy primer is direct to metal. If it were mine it would be 2-3 coats of epoxy primer followed by seam sealer.
  8. Those letters denote the color, MEDium BRight BLue.
  9. The car looks amazing, the patience and attention to detail is staggering and to be applauded. My car seems to have the same lean, like yours everything is new. I'm waiting it out til the spring when I can get some more miles behind me before I make adjustments.
  10. I used Doug's Headers # D669Y and they fit and look great. They are a mid-length header and offer fantastic ground clearance. I have a manual TCP rack and cable clutch and it clears both nicely. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DOU-D669Y/
  11. There is nothing inexpensive about them if you have to buy a NOS piece, I sold mine on Ebay for well over a $100. You may try Midlife, he may know of a non NOS replacement. http://midlife66.com/harnesses/
  12. Don't limit your search to just this sight, there is a TON of info online about this swap. I myself have performed this swap but have yet to get the car on the road. Have any questions just ask!

  14. Not so, drums were standard equipment, discs were an option. This was true for an H-code Mach or an R-code Mach SCJ.
  15. What does good handling have to do with drag racing? I'm not sure what your trying to accomplish here.:confused1:
  16. I think you can use it for anything that requires key on power, does it power up when the key is on?
  17. According to the schematic the black/green wire runs between the ignition switch and the fuse block. Here is a link to the schematic Dave, should be handy in your current project phase. http://www.themustangshop.com/resources.cfm
  18. I think it's key on power, maybe went to an electric carb choke?
  19. Pic#1 - Is the wire black with a green tracer? If it is I believe it is an ignition switch accessory wire. Pic#2 - Looks like the chassis ground, the loose end bolts to the back of the passenger side head.
  20. I believe it's GE194, I forget how many total. For future bulb reference this is a good link: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/

  22. I work at a marina that has a canvas shop, the fasteners are the same. The real deal tools are like a $100 but they make cheaper ones for the regular joes, you use a hammer. http://www.amazon.com/Taylor-Made-Products-1360-Installation/dp/B0000AZ82I
  23. There you go! Nice find, standard interior it is.
