  1. I know some of you have them! Post them up please and where you got it from, if you built it or if you had someone build it for you. I am looking to do something with mine now.. I have a 2005 gt console in it now but I never finished fitting it and I am not really liking it.
  2. I have one from my 69 fastback. it was in good functional shape but doesn't look like new anymore.. I'll have to get some pics next time I make a trip out to Piedmont, might a couple days.
  3. go to american racing.com and you can input your cars information and it will tell you what backspacing is required. I have 245/45/17 on my car and I want to say it is 6.5 backspacing but honestly its been so long that you shouldn't trust that number
  4. are you sure you've got fuel to the carburetor?
  5. Dynamat here, got a deal on amazon or ebay. It made a noticeable difference for sure.
  6. In need of a 69 or 70 clutch pedal for a mustang or a cougar, I believe they are the same. I don't need the whole clutch and brake assembly, only the clutch pedal. If anyone has something in good shape where the hole that the pin goes through is not ovaled out too bad, and would like to sell it for a reasonable price please text me or pm me. 8. awesome build! have you gotten any further with it or gotten the parking brake mounted? I would like to see pics of that if so.
  9. I have flowmasters that are AWESOME but they are 2.5 inch to like 3.5 inch tips and it looks amazing coming out of the valance man. They make a whole exhaust system for 69
  10. I saw the article and thought it was really cool. Now I plan on using the seats, console, and suspension they used and putting them in my fastback. can you find the article online? I couldn't.
  11. This is the only picture I could find on my computer.. I will try to take some more for you tomorrow... I know how frustrating it is if you dont know what goes where...

  13. LOL yeah I figured it would do that if they were backwards but just wondering! lol I dont have a clue why but this car is all over the road. freshly aligned.friend thinks its the tires but they are only 245/45/17 fronts an 275/40/17 rear. anyway this mustang alignment place is supposed to be good and they should figure it out for me.

  15. I need a picture of the p/s lines going to/from the power assist valve!! This valve is new and the gear box is new, EVERYTHING is new and it drives like crap!! memory steer and it does NOT return to center! thinking that maybe lines are wrong?? lol has alignment. Flaming river gearbox installed TODAY. thought it would fix it... So Its this one last thing before I take it to a place in Mustang, OK to try to get them to figure it out but I hate to leave the car anywhere! thanks guys and please pics or diagram asap. -Matt

  17. I use hot rod black it is great. you can not buff a matt or flat black it will shine and you can not clear coat it.. if your painter is a professional and if he paints in a booth there should be temp control and extremely clean with no imperfections.
  18. this is the reason why I want a harness. I have had all the wiring out and don't see why its not working properly but i put a new voltage regulator on and the car was charging right and the guage lights were working when i tried them the first time and now only the oil pressure one works, (like before) and it wont hardly hold a charge, like before. I'm guessing i have a short somewhere thats messing up my voltage reg. aaaaaaaaaaargh
  19. I need this.. .NPD has all the wiring for the car with limited quantity available and its VERY expensive...
  20. thats weird. mine was just barely not close enough to bolt up and there were no brackets included in the kit... this is something i wondered about though.. hm.. oh well i guess?
  21. who cares about the mod motor, its expensive to mod and bolt ons get you know where. cams are over twice the price for half the power and until those new trick flow heads come out, they really are nowhere iwth out FI. IMHO.
  22. the idle on this car sounds like mine to me, and i have flowmaster super 44's with a flowmaster h pipe. 2.5 inch but the vid may be louder.
  23. im sure it would be no problem to make it work. 2003/04 cobra had t56 6 speeds
