  1. If you could come up with a sketch I could possibly make one for you
  2. 408W stroker AFR205's : 10 light poles per gal
  3. I drew it up and programmed it then had my boss run it for me. I may make another with some holes in it for gauging one day.
  4. I got my plate machined the other day. What do you guys think?
  5. I thought about that but I'm probaly going another route. I hope to mill the perimeter to size then put a 1/8" radius on the outside, then send it out for black anodizing. When it's back I will then etch the text and running horse with a 1/16" ball end mill. Then very carefully paint the etched areas in with red to match my black & red interior. It may take me a little while but I'll post a pic when I'm done.
  6. Hey guys, Have a look and see what you think.
  7. Looks like the sails go in first and the wind lace holds the front in. Then the arm rest goes in. Then the little trim pcs then, at least on mine, the pc of channel metal covers the top going over the little trim pcs at the ends.
  8. My engine guy replaced my 4 blade with a 5 blade he pulled from a 80's ford. That 5 blade pulls a ton more air than the stocker did. Let me know if you want to ask me what he pulled it from. He did say he has seen three of the aftermarket flex blades come apart buy I don't know what the brand was.
  9. I put on a Randall's rack power steering kit about 3 years ago. It was pricey but has worked very well.
  10. If you have an auto tranny it probaly goes to it. See if you see a tube coming from there not connected to anything
  11. I have mine going to the carb with no issues.
  12. Does anyone have a cad file of the running horse design? I'm a CNC programmer and would like to make a plate to cover the radio cutout in my bezel. I would like to machine the running horse on it for an original look instead of just a blank plate.
  13. It always puts a smile on my face to go for a spin. Gonna take mine out today after painting my interior dash and dash trim yesterday. Chebies beware
  14. Great pass. Love the purge. Cool weather there?
  15. Whatever one you buy I would recommend doing the leak test before you put it in the car.
  16. Another one bites the dust. I agree, a dam shame.
  17. Looking to buy a temporary wheel while I restore mine. Think this one will work? http://www.cjponyparts.com/grant-black-foam-13-inch-steering-wheel-kit-1965-1969/p/STWG7/
  18. Will do. May buy a cheap wheel so I can still drive it while I'm redoing the original.
  19. Thanks. I found that write up and it's worth a shot compared to the cost of having it restored. Mine needs the pc that goes around the rear of the wheel and could use the vinyl insert in the top. I'll have to see if I can find these somewhere.
  20. I would really like to refurb my original wheel that going aftermarket if possible. Has anybody had success with this and if so the kit or materials that I would need?
  21. Sounds like a nice setup you have there. Did you have much selection on headers for the P heads?
  22. Going on about fellow stang do gooders and trashing parts. I always had an issue fueling up the car. Had to go real slow or it would overflow. I sent him a new filler neck and he removed the bigger dia fill hole plate and welded in a new style small hole unleaded size plate in it. Painted and everything and just wanted shipping to cover his cost. I sent him a check for $20 though. I gladly threw that part away but I would have rather give it to a stang mate. I have a original FMX that I've moved 3 times now. Somebody please come get this out of my garage.
  23. I regret trashing a original 69 power steering setup that had been cleaned up painted and rebuilt. I posted it free to a good home on two stang forums and had no takers. Cleaning up for a cross country move and it was too cumbersome. I guess it shows how much people love the awesome power steering on our cars. I've been in contact with a guy near here that I met on this forum that I'm going to give some stuff to. He has some roller upper a arms coming along with a cam and lifter set. Love to help fellow 69 stangers out but we may be a dying breed. Pun intended.
