  11. I am running a lincoln versailles rear end and 295-50 -15 fit in nice due to the rearend being narrower than stock they look nice all in wheelwell can't tell width till you look from behind.

  13. I have 295 50 15 on mine but I have a Lincoln versailles rearend with 15 by 10 magnum 500s had to coax the inner front wheel well in a little with a dead blow it popped right in and has a good 1 1/2 clearance with wieght on wheels.

  17. yes mine were bubbafied cut out and bubba welded had to drill original spotwelds bubba welds and rivets they ran the whole gambit but it was nice and clean underneath its an alabama car originally

  19. There has got to be some money to be made on those frame connectors they are perfect.Need to send a pic to a subframe maker and get more made I'd love a set .I am far from being a welder my welds take alot of grinding haha.

Actually you can go 427w for the same price .Big cubes are better for low end torque on street while smaller stroker kits do to geometry lend themselves to higher revs for Drag Racing etc.So you can get horsepower and torque out of bigger cubes for less rpms .The smaller stroker motors make greater horsepower and are more friendly to the higher revs with less drive angle on the crank and rods.I was going 408 and have been since talked into 427 which is fine for the occasional 4000 rpm seen on streets but the higher revs of drag racing all out put alot of torsional side load on cranks .Hope this helps.

Depending on what year the truck block it is the D3 blocks are heavier and more suited to stroking this can be seen by looking at the bellhousing area o the block there will be a large cast in rectangle on the last cylinder.The 429 blocks are not as strong other than that they share the same dimensions.
