Classic Adam 10 Report post Posted December 3, 2010 I work for a company that makes gauges and I have been getting a few requests for a 1969-70 mustang dash cluster. Is this something that is in high demand in the vintage mustang world?

Grabber70Mach 107 Report post Posted December 3, 2010 Yes, something with a Tach, Electric Speedo, and four other gauges two on each side at an angle something like this /. At a reasonable price, yes I want my cake and the icecream with a cherry on top.
RogerC 136 Report post Posted December 4, 2010 There are several on here who have built their own or are building their own including me. So yes, there is a demand. I'm sure there are more mustang owners on some of the other non-mustang forums interested also.
Fordrevhead 29 Report post Posted December 4, 2010 For sure... a quality setup at reasonable prices with a few options and a reputable company name behind it and you would move so many that you could ammortize the R&D in a year or two I bet.
Burn 14 Report post Posted December 4, 2010 Yes, Sir!!! I'd like to see a gauge cluster that you can fit modern gauges in. It would also be nice to have a adaptor harness that goes from the stock harness to the new cluster. Plug-n-play! Also, Keep the price between $100-$200 and they'll probably sell like hot cakes. MikeStang 247 Report post Posted December 5, 2010 Yes !!!!!! Those sets for upwards of a grand are insane, and the average Jo would rather spend his money on something else, but one for say 3-500 would be just right Mike

Classic Adam 10 Report post Posted December 8, 2010 Thats good to hear that there are people out there. You never know what people want until you hear from your customer. If this happens it would probably be a dash panel with our gauges already installed in it.
StephenC 10 Report post Posted December 9, 2010 For sure definitely interested!!!
zach69grande 25 Report post Posted December 10, 2010 would you include Light's for the turn signal indicators? offer a brushed metal finish instead of just black or wood grain? a good clean set of muscle/vintage looking gauges with a plug n play adaptor, something we can keep the blue light color with.. for comfortably less than a grand would be stellar. did you post a link to your gauges yet? Trav_450R 10 Report post Posted December 10, 2010 Id like to see some number readouts on the water temp and oil pressure, that way i dont have to guess at what the hell im running at pressure and tempature wise, and it keeps me away from aftermarket gauges, id like to keep it original

rwcstang 201 Report post Posted December 17, 2010 that is a big yes. most of us would like to have a gauge cluster that looks original but that can accept aftermarket gauges. if the price is right im in.
Burn 14 Report post Posted December 17, 2010 I'm guessing he's refering to this company. http://www.classicinstruments.com/ If so, they're selling the '67 and '68 gauge clusters between the prices of $1500-$1300. I would guess they would be selling the '69/'70 clusters for about the same. Again…If so, it’s not going to be affordable for this average Joe.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
