  1. Dropped the motor in, without pulling the hood. Without the tranny of course.
  2. Got the glass in the doors, adjusted, and installed the door panel. Rear panels painted and installed. Carpet is down and console screwed down.
  3. Both my 70 verts, lower interior doors had car color matching lowers 69 coupe had car color matching lowers as well
  4. Here’s how I did my 70 conv i believe this was how they came from the factory

  7. Nothing will surprise me after this one. Cut the Upolstrey off the seat to start the process of recovering it and bam! Someone used diapers to cover the springs and for the padding. Fairly new ones at that due to the peel and stick.
  8. Yes, part #4, it needs to be removed and painted not attached to the car. It adjust on the door itself, so in the event its painted in place and you need to move it up or down, it will not be painted underneath.
  9. Make sure you paint the window stop piece that’s visible at end of door panel. Bout 3” long and 1/2” wide, 2 bolt holes.
  10. Yes, already installed. Knew I was going to need it, so kept an eye on flea bay and eventually found the pieces, all in really good shape with all the hardware
  11. Started working on putting her back together this weekend. Long way to go with no time crunch, so little here and little there. weather striping, tail lights, wiring, bumper, door handles, locks, and ignition switch.

  13. Need to know where it ends at rear quart window and if there is a trim piece that covers the end. Pics would be great

  16. No problem, watched the video. It’s a keeper! I’m sure it will work on the tail light panel trim too
  17. 10-4 on the seats. I have a set of rocker moldings, but not in the best of shape, guess I’ll add polishing to the to do list
  18. Yes, its a Grande. Planning on installing the honeycomb panel on the back. Going back with black vinyl high back seats, figured that would be better on my neck with the big block. Any ideals on where one might find some rocker panel moldings, haven't found any re-pops?
  19. I have not. The car is now at his place, 30 minutes away. May get over there sooner than I want as this corona crap starts effecting peoples jobs. I will be following B’s lead on checking pushrod travel.

  21. The front suspension was also rebuilt before she went to paint. I was able to pick up a period correct replacement Std bore 390 block, had it machined, and almost have it complete. Added some 428 heads, Edelbrock intake and C6 has been rebuilt.
