PSA - I took a chance on some ebay floor mats from Turkey. They turned out much better than expected, and arrived with in a week. They are actually cut to correct shape, not a universal shape like my ACC mats. (Acc is the one on the right. ) He also said he can do custom shapes, I need one for my trunk.

Well here my story of a barn find in San Lorenzo CA. This nice lady at the young age of 25 walked into Bill Bland Hayward Ford in the fall of 1968 to test drive the all new Mustang Mach 1. So the salesman put her in the seat of a Cobra Jet equipped with the 428 and 4 speed transmission. She said this the minute she let out the clutch, it left rubber on the pavement. She knew then that she wanted a new Mustang! So she ordered Mach 1 with a 390, with a four barrel carb and equipped with a 4 speed in black jade. AM/FM, power disc brakes, and black interior. She drove the car a few miles each day to a school were she worked as an assistant. The years from the exposure to the moisture of the air in the East Bay Area and constant sun exposure took its toll so she decided to have it painted black. Then as she got older the clutch became too difficult to work. So she parked it for 19 years where it sat under a car cover in her front driveway Yet JoAnne always kept it registered and insured. On September 28, 2019 the next owner came along and here is where the next chapter begins. I plan to restore the Mach 1 to its former glory with a few upgrade here and there. Definitely a long term project.

M code , original ps , pb, ac candy apple red car. 408w d4 block afr185 heads, dougs tri Ys, air gap intake, quick fuel bd750dp carb, comp cams extreme energy XE284H cam, flow master exhaust, pan fill c4 with Broader performance manual reverse pattern valve body and 500hp kit, Edge Racing 3000 stall converter. 9in nodular 3.73 with True track, AAW harness, All new suspension parts ,interior and a bunch of new sheet metal.......... Also should I put the Mach 1 stripes on?

Hi from India, I am restoring a 351W Mach1 here (AFAIK the only one), this is my 3rd 69 after a convertible and a coupe. The car was in a bad shape (eaten by sea air and rain for years + a blotched restoration attempt), and we have managed to do all the bodywork without any replacement panels. Reassembling the car now, and working on the engine. I have question regarding the distributor. I picked up a MSD 8582 Pro-Billet (with 6A box) from a guy here in India. Its meant for a 302 (I got it almost free). I have a 351W in my Mach1. I know that the distributor are different for the engines, but is there anyway I can modify/adapt it to fit my engine? Adapt the shaft to fit the 351, Can the shaft be dismantled? Thanks

I want to replace all the wiring in my project. Can anyone recommend a company that makes a complete kit? I've heard of "painless" before and have been told they are anything but that. Thanks guys.....
