  1. Hi All......reviving this thread as it had a lot of good info. Before I decide to buy the relay setup for Halogens, has anyone come across anything new for LED headlight? I did send an email to a friends son who works for Cree LED in NC. See what comes out of that...he is an engineer there.
  2. Lower dash and steering column are dark charcoal metallic and the dash and the lower dash “corners” trims are black.
  3. Never.....ever like seeing these types of pictures (especially a beautiful ‘69). Just really hope the occupants were miraculously ok (hopefully since it wasn’t mentioned as a fatal crash).

  5. Shep.......that is sweet! Do you have a build thread?
  6. Wally.....mine goes the same route as yours. The reason I asked is because my Grommet hole didn’t look like a die-stamped hole. It almost looked like they had used a hole saw.
  7. Yeah, that is a sharp looking ride! It would be cool to see .
  8. I was referred to a guy for rebuilding my PS control valve. He had this in his shop......
  9. Curious where everyone’s sending unit wire enters the trunk? Any Metchen owners out there? I’ve heard left side and right side. Also, what size hole is required? thanks Dave
  10. Used a taper caulk tube tip and looked till I found one the had one end as big as the speedo end of the cable. Then I took electrical tape and wrapped it until the caulk tip was attached tight to the connector . Then used dish soap to lube it on and presto! so Doug ....... thanks for the TIP ;)
  11. Good info.....heading down this road right now. The headlights have been fighting me for at least 2weeks now!
  12. Great piece of detail. Where did you see that? The picture gets grainy when I blow it up. The bracket color on mine may be wrong.... but my R code came to me with 3,100 miles on it and my Q code had 35,000 on it and both have the same pump housing.....so not sure what to say but I am intrigued by everyone’s comment about this.
  13. Update......the bushing that goes to the drag link is the lower bushing (circled in red).....frame mount is upper bushing(circled in blue).
  14. Ok......got it all together. I think the upward return spout is due to the PS cooler being in the mix (428 only I believe). Pictures for reference......
  15. Yeh.....I knew it was a teaser but the pages it did have might have been somewhat useful.
  16. The pump off my Q is identical to my R code (pictured)....and my Q code was totaled in 1973 with 35k miles on it , so I doubt it was changed. Might be a big block thing because of the PS cooler.
  17. This is what I have..... maybe I just need to remove my little bracket and replace with the other style hose?
  18. I saw those. The banjo bolt end is correct but not sure about the end with the 2 hole bracket (not sure where the bracket mounts with the 2holes).
  19. I haven't been able to find new flex lines with the banjo bolt into the caliper.
  20. Just want to confirm that a copper washer goes between the caliper and flexible brake line. Does that sound right?
  21. Sorry about that. I thought it was posting the entire pdf. I’ll try and fix that.
  22. Not sure if there is anything helpful here but it might.....
  23. Lmao! Then you end up with the nice car AND more room in the garage!
