  1. 70, I would REALLY recommend NOT using compression fitting on the master Cylinder, I'm not familiar what the laws (or if there is a law) are in VA but in NY those are illegal. IMHO brakes are not something to fool around with (why not use a double flair like the originals). For me it wouldn't be worth the risk, but I'm just one guy with an opinion (and we all know the rest of that saying)
  2. He gave you the height of the fenders ( I believe) , Two pages back are the listing for his tire size (see below) Just subtract the tire height from the fender height and you should have what you're looking for. The 215/65R15 diameter measures 25.675". It was spec'd at 26.1". The 245/60R15 diameter measures 26.0". It was spec'd at 26.6".
  3. Hard to tell in the pictures where gasket is laying, but those new louvers look 1000% better!!!! Have made some really nice improvements
  4. You know, since I have joined this site I have found more obscure websites that have mustang parts then i thought. It would be really nice if there was a sticky for all these sites, because I'm sure there are a lot more that I don't know about. and if the sticky was listed by category I bet it would help a lot of us out trying to source 45 year old parts.
  5. Fantastic work, look forward to your updates.
  6. Agree 100% but the loose screws COULD be the problem, Are any of the screw bosses grounded?
  7. If it were me I would re-solder the circuit board and tighten the screws and see what happens.
  8. Agreed! Buckeye: Hope you are going to have a big party when you put the last piece back on. Most of us only dream of having that day come, you're just about there, ENJOY it.
  9. Bob; Thank you very much for that info….. Gordon
  10. Oh that's great news, when you get a chance the info on the ball joints would be greatly appreciated.
  11. RPM, Where did you get the screw-in ball joints and screw-in ball joint housings from? Did you have to drill out the spindles to make the ball joints work, or did they fit the factory holes? Love the Fab work!
  12. Magnificent work, I enjoyed reading this entire thread. You have some wonderful skills Buckeye. Looking forward to seeing the project come to completion. You have a stunning Mustang.
  13. See link if it's a ford coil. If it's not a ford coil just google how to test that brand. http://www.ehow.com/how_5941137_test-ford-ignition-coil.html
