The front bumper on this car is steel, we haven't made a fiberglass one yet .
-
That's our MTF bumper. We started making them 5 years ago. This came about when a customer furnished us one from the only company at the time making them. After spending close to 40 hours to make it fit, we decided to make our own. That's pretty much how we end up making new parts.

Looks like you can run a fairly wide tire in the back.

Fantastic idea :)

The body actually looked very good, until we got it back from being media blasted LOL.

Let the wiring begin.

What filler for quarter panel extensions?

Or you could go with 3M , spreads like butter and very easy to sand. -

You guys are over thinking this. Just do the Epoxy and some Rage and be done with it :) -
Fold down latch brackets - help
mustangstofear replied to Cantedvalve's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
We've done several and never had to move the brackets. When we do our mini tubs, we have to move the brackets. -
Our seats are no taller than the originals. We also have a bracket that mounts in the Qtr panels so the retractors are hidden. For someone who is 6'8" their not concerned about the rear passengers LOL.

I just talked to a customer on Friday a out the same problem. He is ordering our seat and wanted to make sure they didn't sit any higher than the factory ones, which they don't. I suggested he move his seat riser back to where he's comfortable. For the seat belts he's going with a 3 point and attaching to our roll bar.

It appears that you're working with aftermarket panels, but if everything else is lining up then just move the brackets . -

Just make sure you use a good Epoxy and apply any filler you want to blend the two. My trick is to tape fishing line to the qtr panel and apply the body filler. Once the filler starts to kick, I pull the wire through. -
Thanks, all that's left to paint is the front valance and the stone shield. We used a gallon and 2 quarts of paint.

One of the fine members on here found us a right side, now we just need the left :)

I thought it was nice our customer requested our Logo on his hood. We considered just applying the decal after all the painting was done, but went ahead and buried it under the clear.

They should all have the second hand

Hood just needs to be color sanded and buffed.
