  7. I am running 215/70/14's all around. Puts about 7" of rubber on the road. Brian
  8. Any particulars on that 'tractor hydraulic fluid' ? Manufacturer, weight or type ? 428/4 speed car. Speed/RPM's don't seem to matter but the temperature does. The hotter it is the crappier the shift. I have moved all the way up Castrol 85-145 gear lube. It has made shifting a little better but not as good as I would like. I have tried the lighter weights and the synthetics and am now trying the 85-145. Best so far. Brian

  12. Good question. I never have seen one installed or for sale. Pictures of my assembly without one and no evidence of ever having one. You could make a case for a gasket either way. My guess no. Brian

  14. I carry the spare and jack and they are stored right where they are supposed to be. Road side assistance is just fine, I have AAA, but the person sent to assist you may not have the same respect for your car that you do. Brian
  15. The rubber grommet, C9ZB-3K680-B, is a compression fit with a interesting little interlocking mechanism to get it to stay in place. Brian
  16. No metal strap under the ABS/plastic cover. The only column support is a metal brace/bracket, stamped with the Sept 3 1968, in this photo and can been seen in the other photo posted. Brian
  17. To get started you will need to get all the numbers off the transmission case and the tail shaft assembly. Brian

  20. Starting Point; the forward kick panel has a enlarged area to receive the windlace. Ending Point; The rear 1/4 window latch has a small plastic trim and windlace goes to the top of the int. fiberglass. Brian
