  1. Hi everyone, Here are the results for my compression test on my 302 2bbl stock 69 mustang. There is a little oil on the back of the engine by #4. Could it simply be a bad gasket seal? Cilynder dry wet #1 125 140 #2 117 135 #3 117 135 #4 105 115 #5 120 140 #6 125 148 #7 120 133 #8 122 140 All ideas and thoughts are welcome! All the best from sunny Tuscany!!
  2. Hello everyone! looking to upgrade to disk rear brakes on my 8" rear end. Has anyone had a good experience with a specific conversion rear drum-to-disk kit? SSBC, Summit, Auto City Classics?? I already have a SSBC front disk conversion kit installed with booster and Master Cylinder. I have the original 1969 Mustang rims (see pic) and many sites say that they won't fit with the 14" wheels. Thanks for any offered help!

  5. Hi, would like to upgrade my front 1978 Granada disk rotors to a drilled & slotted pair. Don't know which to choose from......the are soooo many (Hart, V1Specs, StopTech, ChromeBrakes, C brakes ecc ecc ecc). Does anyone here have a pair on their 69/70 Mustang? what would you recommend?   6. the coil is vertical and has never dripped oil. to test the coil, i bought a new one. when the engine stalled i installed the new one and she started right up.
  7. Hello everyone, I have a msd blaster 2 ignition coil with a 6AL and an MSD distributor on my 302 engine. When I take the car out for long drives (4 to 5 hrs on highway at 70 mph) everything runs great. When I leave the car in the driveway running for 30 min or longer the ignition coil gets very hot and the engine stalls. Impossible to start it up again until it cools off. Could anyone give me some insight on what the problem may be? Never misfires and timing seems to be spot on. Thanks in advance for your time and help. All the best from sunny Italy! Paul

  9. Has anyone had any luck replacing your front seats to something more comfortable than the original 1969 ones? If so, I'd love some ideas on which used cars to start looking at do do the swap. Preferably without too much work. All the best to the Mustang fans out there!!!

  15. Hi all, I got my buck tag, door tag and windshield tag but here in Italy, the DMV wants to see the stamped VIN # on the chassis of the car. I have a 69 mustang conv made in Metuchen, New Jersey.....WHERE IS IT!?!?!??!?!?. Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. on my door tag i have DSO 17 (Washington)...could the fender tag have a descrepancy with 16 (Philly). Also, on all publications 6 is Pastel Gray, but as you can see the riveted tag says ACAP BLUE. any ideas? I'm having issues because I brought the car to Italy and the DMV is asking me to eryfy all the tags. thanks for the help!!
  19. Trying to figure out what the 346 on the top left mean. the 16 and the 6. I'm only assuming that the TOPM means the conv top is "Manual". And that the PS means Power Steering was installed. thanks for any help!!!
